My father gave me this book in 1970. I've read it at least 1000 times since then. My life has been pretty tumultuous, but I've always kept a copy on me. I'm 58 and reading it right now lol. It makes me feel as if I'm in a cozy, safe space and the characters are old friends I revisit again and again

I like that she wrote to get her family out of poverty but also because she enjoyed storytelling.

i like this story and movie so much. When I watched this movie , that gives me a lot of motivation. My favourite character is Amy.
