Legendary the Poet and that drove him develop a dark mind and perform some fucked up shit in the future. That seems to be the case with a lot of fictional charters that fear nothing, save for the solemn truth and unavoidable destiny of dying...
@@blackshogun272 As I understand it, this all sprang from being orphaned by the death of his parents. Kind of ironic considering he doesn't mind killing others. The biggest way to conquer the fear of death, is to accept the fact that one day we will. Clearly, he's running away from death. But even he will one day succumb
@@razkablebecause I think he’s more like a Pokémon trainer, he wants to learn all the jutsu, so he discovered immortality, all of the tailed beasts are more than likely just really hard to capture.
It’s like in fallout new Vegas, make everyone hate you by doing g terrible things but also help in the war effort effectively playing a part in helping the allies win then after all that they’re accepted around society but hated by pretty much all of them
In reality the third hokage committed suicide just to take orochimarus hands (taking away his ability to weave jutsu and thus allowing hiruzen sarutobi to die at the hands of the grim reaper death seal
@@trymacs4511 so, if someone dies of head trauma resulting from headbutting a home invader, it was their choice to fight back that was fatal, not the guy trying to kill his family and steal his stuff. Sure... Like how it's not the driver of a car that kills in a hit-and-run, it's the car itself. Leaves the driver blameless. -_-
At least we know that Orochimaru is a good parent for Mitsuki, always let his son to decide based on his own free will and always monitoring his development.
It’s like Dr. Frankenstein from the novel, except that this Dr. Frankenstein wants to see how far his creation can become human and not wanting to destroy it.
@@mohamadhafidal-ahyar2253 Probably learning from his Teacher's mistake for not protecting Naruto from the cruel hatred on Konoha or taking care of Sasuke after his family got killed by Itachi.
Aside from orochimaru never dying, did anyone notice that his experiments are actuallly OP. He is the first one to experiment on hashirama's cells and was even able to successfully implant it to yamato and this idea to use hashirama's cells was still relevant in boruto's time! He created mitsuki and like there was a whole nation dying to know how mistuki was created. I think he's the most successful scientist in the whole naruto series.
The zoo in naruto be like: Here we can witness the 14 tails, made by Orochimaru. It sits there and sleeps 24/7 because if it Orochimaru had given it intelligence, we’d all be dead. Next, the magical healing slugs.
Orochimaru is involved in so much things throughout the series. So much power and charisma. He deserved really so much more appreciation. He's one of the greatest villains in the anime history.
@@themadclown4077 uh, because he can't. jiraiya's corpse is deep down in that water thingy idk what kind of body of watrr is that but yeah. i dont think they are able to find jiraiya's corpse in deep water
When you start thinking about a character whose whole thing is that he finds ways to cheat death you somehow can't find a way for that character to die.
@@sugartoothYT Well, it is funny how Orochimaru was declared criminal and traitor for doing Root's experiments, but Danzo literally plans treason several times and got scott free. Honestly, I don't find surprising if he got so salty he decided to destroy Konoha just for that ('My former village should show more gratitude for my experiments')
Orochimaru is the CIA of Naruto. This man had such vast knowledge and wisdom. He infiltrated all the villages and even created his own. Heck Orochimaru even knew of the Uchiha coup and the second hokages mistakes as a leader putting many policies into place created problems further down the line. Orochimaru knew how fragile humans were like the time he saw Tsunade crying after losing Dan. The man had a mind that was unlimited.
Orochimaru was one of my favorite characters when i first heard his theme all those years ago. I feel like he really carried the show with how creepy and disturbing he moves n what he could do. I also like his character transformation.
The effort put into this was amazing. Good work, very entertaining even for someone who knows a lot about Naruto. Orochimaru really was one of the most interesting and widespread characters in the series. He has his fingerprints on every single element of the series.
it's crazy how we understand this language, "susano", " jinuriki, as Sasuke had Jugo transfer some of his natural energy". like every other word is naruto-nese. lol
It’s just like in the real world, there are guys that are too powerful and knowledgeable to be in prison so the government uses them. Just like in naruto as long as orochimaru is in their good side they won’t do nothing to him but watch every step he takes. The fact that he is informing naruto of his moves shows that he is working in the village’s best interest so it’s better having him do something then do nothing in prison which it was basically what happened to sasuke when he was redeeming himself
@@themadclown4077 you’re* and yeah you right, I wish my parents were killed and I turned my back on everything and everyone I loved just to be immortal
I never finished the anime. So seeing a complete breakdown from a character who was truly the most evil of the series to one who you could see has regained some of his humanity from the dealings with his son and other young ninja is certainly a suprising turnaround.
I really like how Orochimaru's character is kept relevant and sorta given a redemption arc. I love how it's hinted that he will be the crucial guy needed for defeating the Otsutsuki via Mitsuki
Orochimaru is the most evil and scariest villain in the series. He appears sparingly but his presence is felt in every dark episode. When he shows up, the world crawls in horror!
@@aidanderson53X Oh, it manipulates, suppress, and absorbs any target's chakra like tailed beasts or Ōtsutsukis, hence making it harder to burn with fire jutsus. It's creating a living thing like, the forest that surrounds Konoha, Hashirama made that. And it may be a weaker material than metal, but Hashirama punched Madara's Susanoo out of Kurama, and Susanoo's are totally stronger than metal. So normal level wood release can get you to high Jōnin level like Yamato, but in the highest level, it's some of the most powerful things we've seen in Naruto, it punched a Susanoo off a tailed beast
Gotta hand it to this guy, he beats the Otsusuki in immortality, coming back to life, and switching bodies: meanwhile, they literally need the karma to come back to life and steal chakra from other planets to stay young.
People genuinely underestimate how powerful he really is, he has the potential to be the strongest Shinobi of all time but chooses to stick to his own path.
@@austinjoseph2881 Jairaiya was strongest in sage mode, which he couldn't even perfect and needed help with. Orochimaru is a perfect sage and is constantly in sage mode (which is why he looks as he does, his sage animal is a white snake) (though he was pale as a kid, so it's just the eyes and purple part of his eyes + nose that changed) That's why hes always been able to tank like everything.
Damn......Orochimaru had his hands in so much shit that was going on in current day and in Narutoverse's past. That alone makes him such an interesting character.
*Someone asked Kishimoto in an interview about Orochimaru.* Speaking of never dying... can Orochimaru ever be killed??? Kishimoto: He's the type of character that still will around when rest of the world is gone.. Kishimoto: He still need a new body to switch into but he'll outlast most of us!
The most fascinating thing I find about Orochimaru is the fact he looks younger than Kakashi and Yamato. If you have watched Shippuden, you know Kakashi and Yamato were still little brats while Orochimaru was a middle-aged man. Orochimaru is gonna outlive everyone until the destruction of Earth in Narutoverse.
Orochimaru, a legendary sannin who was feared back then and can go toe to toe with 4 tails Naruto, a man who achieve immortality (Not Aging And Body Swap) And Possess A Powerful Jutsu (Theoretically) And What Did He Do? He Lived Out His Life And Checked Out Everything He Missed During His Absence In The Village Instead Of Destroying It That right there folks, is a true change of heart, not a ruined character
Great video. After watching it, I had some interesting thoughts & opinions base on what we've about Orochimaru. 1. After learning about his past life & crimes, as well as his abilities, is it possible that Orochimaru might have been inspired by Starscream (since they were both known for their betrayal & ability to hop bodies), Brainiac (when it comes to gathering a massive amount of information), and Mister Sinister (due to his desire to create the perfect being). 2. If Mitsuki, Log, and Shin Uchiha were his attempts in creating the Ultimate Shadow Clone Jutsu, and were in a way a complete success, why doesn't he try to make new vessels out of them, thus finally obtaining both the Sage Mode & Sharringan in his possession, and without plot in any way shape or form getting in the way? 3. Judging by Orochimaru's abilities to take on new bodies & puking himself out of himself, is possible for Mitsuki to do those things if he wanted to? 4. With the whole debate on what Orochimaru's true gender is, I began to wonder if they could make a filler episode(s) on it, and that turns out to be the best one since wanting to know what is behind the 6th Hokage's mask?! Well I don't know about you guys, but what do you think?
Orochimaru be like: Does it matter? I have been women and men for many times by my lifespan. Make a new word kid, one that is mother and father at the same time.
Being a hidden village doesn't make him a kage The kage represent the five changes in nature of chakra And as a nation consisting of villages Thats why there are only 5 kages Hokage Mizukage Kazekage Raikage Tsuchikage Being the great 5 nations
@@leanmarkocbina1379 And also because the other 5 nation wouldn't accept it as a real village there was an incident in the (base) Naruto series where they've gone to a not accepted village where some shady s1th was going on and there I think Kakashi told team 7 that to be a kage your village must be accepted by the 5 other kages
No theres still other viallges in the naruto would that must isnt excepted as part of the 5 great villages. He could still be leader I guess or the founder.
So one thing I would like to confirm: Does Orochimaru still need to get a new host body in the 3-year cycle? Is or isn't this need nullified after acquiring White Zetsu body during the World War?
Gotta say these are just brilliant , props for the production you guys put into these however. I’d love to see some Bleach characters history in this format ❤️
I love orchimaru I also like that they basically came out to their descendent that they are agender or nonbinary and that it doesn’t really matter given how many different forms they have taken. Idk I just love orchimaru as a charecter and seeing them be supportive of their child is rather wholesome.
It’s honestly amazing more shinobi in the Lead didn’t wind up going insane like Orochimaru did. Then again Orochimaru may have been one of the only living ones
I just noticed that the legendary Sannins don't have their last names. Even Tsunade who is the granddaughter of Hashirama Senju doesn't have Senju as her last name. So did Nawaki, her little brother.
@17:30 we talk about the fight between Sasuke and Orochimaru. Here's my question- I always interpreted that fight as an intentional loss for Orochimaru- He wanted to be taken- I mean, he ended up inside Sasuke anyway. Just like all those other events where Sasuke makes someone believe they had what they wanted and then pulls the rug out from under them, He doesn't do that anymore after Orochimaru leaves his body. Orochimaru is whispering in his ear all these tactics because he knows all those people and has already fought with them. Itachi was prepared to extract Orochimaru's soul out of his younger brother- He knew Sasuke wouldn't be able to take Orochimaru in a fight. Let Sasuke think he's won, Guide his actions, bring me to Itachi (because I know that's where you are going). ...because there are still some things that only Orochimaru can do...
Basically Orochimaru is a Japanese version of Harry Potter’s Voldemort, both seem to love snakes 🐍 , except the Sannin is much more successful when it comes to cheating death and pursuing immortality.
What if Orochimaru asked Konoha to give him Wanted Criminals/Murderers etc as subjects for his experiments instead of kidnapping villagers? He could have argued that the results from those experiments would benefit the Leaf and get rid of dangerous individuals that nobody wanted alive anyway. Orochimaru gets to have his research, Leaf could get stronger, and also maybe he would have never left the village and chill like he does in boruto now🤷🏻♂️
