She's earned her title quite fittingly even with her flaws I.E her temper and drinking(sadly unsurprising given what she's seen and done). Her devastated reaction to Jiraiya's death was tragic but also humanizing, while her general pacifism and moral based objections to harming non combatants just seals the deal with her paragon leadership. Tsunade is a true legend.
If she didn't skip literal decades being an active ninja... She'd be easily one of the strongest characters alive, and definitely stronger than the any member of tthe Gokage of her time.
That's not really true. Who died during the Orochimaru's meeting with her when she won the 777 often that chapter? And she surely won some money during her years of gambling! If she was always losing, she wouldn't gamble often and be totally ruined!

She's probably the Waifu material that people would want... For like 10 years if she doesn't use her Awaken power! Cause to me, she hasn't have lots of years left due to the side-effect... When you see her totaly drained out... The young looking woman is really not young at all! She's either the Temporary waifu material of fuck-girl.
Because she had done everything that was needed to be done. The village was now safe from major threats so was the shinobi world. Girl needed her break after working her ass off. Moreover they also had kakashi available as her next successor so there was no point prolonging her stay in the office and hence opted for an early retirement.
