Opening few seconds: ah remember the days of BBC when it was worth the power required to keep the radio tuned in.

The submarine captain is far too unrealistic due to his informal relationships with crew. It does not command respect.

Here is a short synopsis of this work. "A bizarre chain of unforeseen coincidences sparks a 1990s British nuclear submarine to prepare to launch an all-out attack. Devastating, unpreventable, unless... James Follett's thriller stars Manning Wilson as Captain Harrison, John Rye as Lieutenant Sinclair, Ian Thompson as Stride, Michael Shannon as Floyd, Sheila Mitchell as Louise Arnott, James Hayes as Wallis and Conrad Phillips as the Prime Minister. Knowing the author I dislike reading some random person's version of what they think his story is about. Trust the writer you already know and like!

This is a great play so far, and yes you heard me say this before : And I will say it again :. I am enjoying this vigorously So let me get back to it BUT I HAD TO STOP BE TO TELL YOU ABOUT THIS. BEAUTIFUL,, YOU. PICKED. What would have made the picture perfect would be a submarine sitting surfaced in the water. Well nevertheless let me head back to the play and I'll see you next time

I wish you would list the actor's names in this play! Several of them sound very familiar especially the captain. He kind of reminds me of the actor who does the Paul Temple stories but I can't think if his name

Science futurism! Turns out that looking 20 years into the future (specially in the 1970s) is a really tough call. So many refrerences to audio cassette tapes and His Majesty... oh dear.

@@Mulberry2000he got the replacement date for Polaris about right ,mid 90s. The queen passing away in her 60s was possible , her father went in middle age. The euro dollar was a bit early but...... The russia and china fighting each other never happened, but it could have done. And the Berlin wall had not fallen. ......
