The craftsmanship is amazing! Is there a specific name for this style of coat? I keep seeing them around in media but am not sure what the actual style of coat is called.

It's called a frock coat, I believe. Try searching "18th century frock coat" on google.

Pendlera correct. But this particular one was worn by Admiral nelson and other admirals of the late 18th century.

Very nice, but if I may add just a little constructive criticism. Not for the actual costume, but for the accessories. For that tI'm period the sword belt would actually be worn under the wescut (waist coat). The reason was that it would hold the belt down with very little movement. The sword would stay in place, and the scabbard would actually go back through the frock coat at the pleated vents. I only know this from research for reenacting.
