Middle school is a boiling pot of insults, homophobia, sexism, and those 3 people who actually are good human beings. And honestly, I'd totally be fine if I could make it to the next grade.
There are two types of people listening to this: - musical theater people who don’t know what Percy Jackson is -pjo people who don’t usually listen musicals
Third type: when you hear there’s a musical of the first book so you read the first book so you can listen to the soundtrack without spoiling the first book for yourself... and then you finish pjo and come back and listen to it again and finally understand some of the jokes that came from the rest of the series. That was a rant and I apologize.
@@Th3_m0st_forgettable_g1rl Percy didn't mention that she was a substitute. If he didn't know who she was, then his reaction would've been different. Grover should scold him and remind him to not talk to strangers. Or, well, that's what I think they're trying to say...?
For PJO fans who want to go to CHB, take the official advice: "Being a half blood, it's scary. It mostly gets you killed in very nasty ways." But still, if you STILL want to be a half blood, then I respect your opinion. 😂
“Baaahhhh!” “Dude, What was that?” “Uh, nothing!” *Grover is probably in physical pain because he can’t tell Percy about his powers then and there during the Greek mythology lesson*
basic tall girl And they both have emotional songs where they explain how he felt like either, how he lost his other half, or how he failed and lost someone because of it
Mr. Brunner: It was only a matter of time before - Percy: I got kicked out? Mr. Brunner: That's not what I was going to - Percy: You think I'm trouble just like everyone else. MY HEART HURTS EVERY TIME I JUST WANNA HUG PERCY
Books: Shhh don't diss the gods, they'll turn us into ferrets (Harry Potter reference) or something... Movies: Let's change the story line COMPLETELY Music: THE GODS ARE THE FRIKIN WORST THEY LITERALLY BELONG IN TARTARUS This song is legit hilarious tho edit: losing my mind over this ong what was wrong w me four years ago
So true XD I was surprised by all the hate to gods say loudly (there's even a SONG about how the demi gods hate their godly parents) but DAMN, it's sooooo satisfaying !!! XD
I'm loving how the first 4 comments I see all are obvious fans of be more chill. I have found my place in the world. Also this was awesome and I'm definitely listening to the rest
disneydork100 my heart breaks in the book, and here. I should be used to this soon. But not yet. It hurt a lot when Nico is being rude to Percy. That hurts me the most. Since I am like Nico and my bff is like Percy(in personality and how she has no plan on what to do when it comes to anything at all. I am like Nico personality and how he is not trusting after his sister died. Well I am like that after my mom died. More like I still am).
@@mayadargeon2172 It's okay, I still miss her; but she is in a place where she is not suffering. We ended up dating, and she was scared as how her familywould react to us, and she broke it off. I am glad that she and I stayed friends; if we didn't, I don't know what I would do, but it wouldn't have been good.
@@justamisunderstoodkidnamed9928 I'm glad that you didn't lose her then, even if I think it's sad to break because of others views, I can understand ... Hopefully, you never get to know how you would react !
This is why I was worried about going to see it because I could guarantee that I would run for the exits. Lucky I managed to stay seated and not look like an idiot 🙂
Guys, I honestly think it would be a lot of fun to be a clear sighted mortal as well. I mean you get to see all the monsters and that. You know about the Greek gods and all but they dont really know you. A funny thing would be to walk up to random demigods and be like "Nice job taking down that hell hound." Then walk away with no other comments and if they try to ask you what you meant, you play dumb and act like you saw nothing.
I love the books and still did not hear of the musical until my friend who is obsessed with musicals told me. I was putting it off thinking it would be a repeat of the movies but I had a pleasant surprise when I listened to it.
Right after reading the 1st series, I heard drive and thought "That's cool" and forgot about it. Me now: WHY past me??? You lost a significant amount of happiness and having catchy songs stuck in your head at all times
I fucking loved Percy Jackson ever since I saw the first movie and read a few of the books, and I slightly screeched when I heard it was a musical. I screeched even louder when I found out George was in it, and he was Grover ;w;
Aleyna's World I've noticed that you said you watched the movie THEN read the books. The movie was good...if you haven't read the books. Instead of getting mad I'm just going to respect your dam opinion.
Skierz 13 I watched the first movie a few times before reading the books. But I knew the movies are not the same as the books. My friend who read the books told my how wrong they are. Now after reading up to half way through the fourth book, I see how wrong the first movie. My friend told me not to watch the second movie. I saw ten minutes of it, and that much of the second movie I dislike it. I am glad my friend spoiled the stories on all the characters who where not introduced yet. Like Nico and Bianca Di Angelo. My friend told me about Bianca's death and how Nico ran away before I even read the first book. Now after reading up to the fourth book, I need to read all the books.
march cat YOU WATCHED THE MOVIE AND LIKED IT Every Percy Jackson fan who hates the movies: EWWWWWW I just read the comments never mind But never watch the movies
Super_gamer_girl27 they are good movies. But once you read the books, you think differently. I know, since I am one of the people who knew there are books but my class chooosed it since it was the only movie that had swears that we didn't need a note for and we just finished a short lesson on mythology and we so little from the lessons. I am glad that I read the books. Today I am starting House of Hades. I have heard so much about the books, since my friend already know the books by heart and told me. She told me Nico's whole story, up to Mark of Athena. She told me a lot. And then I heard about what mostly happens in House of Hades. I can't wait to start reading it. Gods, now I understand why my freinds call a Bookworm. I read a lot when I get books that I like.
I'll admit it, I watched the movie first and I liked it ... Before I read the books, I mean ... Now, a mention makes me cringe and I was kind of worry about this show (until I learned that the author of the saga worked on here XD) but I don't regret it ! It's a great musical, maybe NOT the best but soooo much accurate to the books and with an AMAZING soundtrack and actors (I'm bi for everyone, *everyone* in this cast) and I'm glad to listenned to it ! PS : seriously, Ms.Dodds' voice when she speak about Kronos is just amazing ! ... And kind of disturbing, but AMAZING !!
