Dear Mrs.@lindalaw8368, Ms.Palmer wrote an autobiography"Dicke Lilly, gutes Kind -fat Lilly good child" which is an fascinating view on the cultural world from the Golden Twenties until Eighties. Ms.Palmer was multi talented as a writer, painter and actress and her cultural heritage is precious.💐💫

Had all the charm that the other german actress.........didnt.!!!! Really a beautiful actress at any stage of her life. You can see the warmth in her face!!! Hollywood certainly goofed in not using her more often.!!!

I didn't realize that she had a cheek job. And apparently an eye(s) job, as well. I noticed the same 2 things about Ann Sheridan (also) while watching one of her earliest movies -- pre-facelift. Besides her undeniable beauty, I am enchanted by Lilli Palmer's speaking voice. Hers is my favorite "type" of voice in cinema. Jeanne Moreau has a similar-sounding voice, I think.

Thank You for this moving hommage video. I simply love Lilli Palmer. This lady has all the intelligence, culture, talent, warm and class that we can wish from an actress. Having said that, I have two reserves about this video. First, I would like to understand what Ms. Palmer told to her audience at he beginning of the video. I'm not sure that everybody is comfortable with Goethe's language. English Subtitles would be very appropriate. Second, it's a personal opinion, I don't like the musical choice of this video. This music is syrupy. Another choice would have been more than welcome. So, I cut down the sound during this video. Anyway, as I said, it's a just a matter of personal taste. I don't want to offend any other user who likes this music. If so, please accept all my apologies, ladies and gentlemen.
