I don’t have a son and I’m a girl, but omg… I NEED THIS BIBLE!!!!! This looks so beautiful!!!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH I NEED IT!!! Last year, I started to get more serious with my relationship with God. In terms of reading the Bible, I have gotten better in putting more effort into really _reading_ God’s word and putting more effort into at least trying to understand what I read! I have just felt more connected to God! I also got baptized that year! I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was young, but you know, I was just a little kid. So it was last year when I started to get better in my relationship with God, and that’s I suddenly started thinking of getting baptized. Getting baptized isn’t a necessity, but I wanted to do it because it’s a nice symbolism in accepting Jesus and being “born again”! After I did, it was such an amazing feeling!! I still run into a feel obstacles here and there, but definitely in terms of Bible reading and having a relationship with God, things have gotten better! So, what does this have to do with this Bible? Well, what I have found that makes me feel really connected to God or feel His presence is when I’m in nature, and especially when I look at animals! I love animals and nature, and that includes fantasy animals too! Learning about how there were dragons in the Bible and looking at the amazing animals in today’s world just kept screaming out how epic God is! I don’t know, it’s just mesmerizing! And seeing the trees and clouds and nature overall, wow! How could that have all happened by chance with a big bang, like seriously?? It’s God! It’s all God! So anyway, this Bible has a lion and a lamb (two amazing animals that symbolize God and Jesus), a dove and q bird, a snake getting pierced by a sword (take that, Devil!), and it just looks so mesmerizing. As mesmerizing as seeing God’s beautiful nature creations! This cover actually looks like something you’ll see in fantasy, and that’s actually what makes this better. I love fantasy, and this cover makes the Bible appear like a fantasy novel, but, guess what? There’s a twist! It appears fantasy-like, but… it’s actually real!!! Mind-blown!! So, yeah, I am really sorry for writing such a long comment instead of keeping it short, I just thought sharing my story in why I want this Bible and why it means a lot to me would be nice! So, I hope I’ll get this Bible one day! Oh, another reason why I want to change my Bible is because my old one is just, not exactly how I like it. I highlighted it so much and in completely unnecessary areas, it just looks so ugly now! I am never EVER highlighting a Bible ever again!! I refuse!!! That’s why I was a little bothered that this is a journaling Bible (I refuse to write in Bibles too lol), but I guess it’s not THAT bad. It’s just on the side, so not on the actual words, and it might actually be useful in remembering verse numbers and why I wanted to remember it, things like that. So, it might actually come in handy. Ok, again, very sorry for making such a long comment. When I start talking, I never stop 😅 If you made it this far, then congrats lol! I hope I get this Bible one day, it’s so beautiful!! By the way, did your son like it? And does he still have it and journaling in it today?
