Interesting at 3:23, the Sneak Peeks Menu music is also used in Late 2008 Releases that uses the Fifth Variant (July 2008-January 2009) like The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea: Special Edition, My Friends Tigger & Pooh: Hundred Acre Wood Haunt, Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, Handy Manny: Manny’s Pet Round Up, The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning, Sleeping Beauty: 50th Anniversary Edition, Tinker Bell & Disney DVD Games
Interestingly, "Open Range," the first DVD to use the Sneak Peeks menu in any form, has file dates from four days later than the ones for this - December 9, 2003. That would explain why the filmreel icon here is thicker than on that movie.
Still. Hit "Sneak Peeks" on its menu and bam - there you are. No animation. Same goes for "Under the Tuscan Sun," also released by Touchstone in January 2004. Video footage of both is as follows: Open Range: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uWmwYHeKcrs.html - it's at 0:20; please ignore the menu music being played there; it's not like that on the actual release Under the Tuscan Sun: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ch2owvAf2Og.html
First DVD to use it is actually Where’s Spot/Spot Goes to the Farm, which was released on 1/6/04. The music repeats after the animation finishes and the animation repeats after the selected previews ends.
@@bbrcareercenter9315 My son loves this movie. He has seen it before on VHS that was in the living room closet and DVD that my nephew gave him when he was little.
UPDATE:Disregard The Comment Saying That The 2004 DVD Of Open Range Was The First To Use The Sneak Peeks Menu In Any Form, Because The First To Use It Were Actually The 2004 DVD Releases Of Rolie Polie Olie:Springy Time Fun, Mickey & Minnie's Sweetheart Stories, And Winnie The Pooh:A Valentine For You/Un-Valentine's Day, And The Comment Saying That This Was The First Disney DVD To Use The Fully Animated Version Of The Sneak Peeks Menu, Because It Was Actually The 2004 DVD Of Where's Spot/Spot Goes To The Farm (Those DVDs Were Released On January 6th, 2004), Although The Animated Version Began It's Official Use On This DVD
And Where's Spot/Spot Goes To The Farm Uses The Normal Music On The Sneak Peeks Menu, And Has The Music Playing In A Loop When The Menu Is Finished Animating, And Has The Menu Animation Repeat Itself After The Selected Trailer Is Done Playing, While This Uses The Extended Music On The Sneak Peeks Menu, And Doesn't Have The Music Playing In A Loop
Vivek Vijayan 4032 Actually, The 2004 DVD Releases Of Rolie Polie Olie:Springy Time Fun, Winnie The Pooh:A Valentine For You/Un-Valentine's Day, And Where's Spot/Spot Goes To The Farm Released On January 6th, 2004 Were The First DVDs To Have The Sneak Peeks Menu, And The Spot DVD Was The First To Use The Fully Animated Version On The Sneak Peeks Menu (On That One, The Menu's Music Plays In A Loop After The Menu Finishes Animating, And The Menu Animates Itself Again After The Selected Trailer Is Finished Playing)! I Hope To Get Those DVDs Sometime
Vivek Vijayan 4032 And For Where's Spot/Spot Goes To The Farm, That Was The Earliest Known Disney/Buena Vista DVD Release To Use The Normal Music On The Sneak Peeks Menu
