The Lion King Parade - 1994 - Disneyland 

I remember this too well. My mom took me to Disneyland for the first time in life when I was 8 years old in 1994. It was the just the two of us and our bond got stronger that day and we loved this parade. But 4 months laters she died from an Asthma Attack. Three years later I go to a field trip to Disneyland with the YMCA. When I saw this parade 3 years later I broke down and cried. It brought out so much emotions I couldn't control it. It didn't feel the same cause she wasn't there with me that day. Now 25yrs later I can finally find peace looking at this again. Rest In Peace Mom I Love You & Thank You For That Special Day In 1994!

I wonder if they'll bring this back for 2019 because of the lion king reboot.

Those rhinos are so good! I don't think I saw this, though I was at Disneyland that year(I think), because we were there at Christmas so got the Christmas parade.

Fun Fact: 4 out of 6 of the main parade floats are still used today at Disney's Animal Kingdom in the Festival of the Lion King with some minor adjustments.

Such an incredible parade! I was 4 years old back in 1994 and I remember the entire parade....I loved the music especially!

I saw this in '97 when I was 5 years old. Wow it brought back so many memories! I even traded up a little remembering how happy I was since Lion King was and still is my favorite Disney movie. I even have my pumbaa plush doll from Disneyland and I'm 24 haha (:

Ah, yes, that must be the Lion King Parade, so I saw for the last time, just like I was a kid. Well, my favorite parade is called "Parade of the Stars." There's between Rafiki and Timon. I saw the Lion King Parade at Disneyland when I was a kid. Jimmy Kielbasa out.

I remember being here! Disney's parades are so creative!!

For an amateur video this was pretty good. I love how the rhinos were really working the crowd! That gray one was really grooving with the music with the head rolls and dancing. You can tell the character performers inside really love what they do.❤
