Fun Fact I: In 2009, Qaddafi visited Italy and met Berlusconi, all while wearing an image of Omar Al-Mukhtar as shown near the end of this video.

Fun fact II: The Senussi family would later rule Libya from 1951 until 1969, where they would be overthrown by Col. Muammar Al-Qadhafi. The rest is history.
