@@Ericstrains I have just reviewed this engine. I love this engine. You channel is awesome. Keep up in the good work. I put the link to your channel in my description of the video I did of the engine that you designed. Please check out my channel.
I’ve been watching your videos for over ten years. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to get one of these ES44s. Congratulations on the milestone and keep it up!
Hey Eric, I actually just got mine in a couple days ago as I had to work out a payment plan with Brian, (Awesome guy btw) and I just realized that I'm the one who got number 150! I wanted to chime back in and say a huge thank you for signing mine in gold and for the awesome ericstrains sticker! I also wanted to say how awesome it is you signed mine on camera. Keep on being great man!
Been here since 2010. While I’ve been out of O scale for years, I’m still in the hobby and still keep up with your videos. It’s been a fun ride so far!
Ours arrived today ! My wife Julie & I are super excited to open it up and see it in person . Our is #144 of 150 that you signed . Thanks for autographing each box and numbering them Eric. Class act . Because all of my tunnels & mountains on the layout I learned from your tutorials , your engine has a very special shelf in the train room to show it and the box . I give all credit to you Eric . Anytime folks who come see the layout and ask … how did you learn to build all this ? I always tell them about Eric’s Trains tutorials . Anything you come up this as next runs … we are all in . Thanks for all you do Big Guy . You the Man Eric!
Congratulations Eric on a beautiful model. I started a model railroad manufacturer 6 years ago with some friends and I know that feeling of excitement and nervousness when you open your model for the first time, hoping it’s right! Like you, if someone told me as a kid I’d be (partly) responsible for model trains I would’ve laughed at them, but it’s funny how life works out. Congratulations on your continued success!
It depends how you are, you've almost have get me into modeling trains again, by just watching your videos and this one i can feel how just you might feel
Eric, great choice of locomotive model, color and graphics. Picked mine up (#35) on Sat (unfortunately I missed you, got here at 2:30pm). Beautiful engine !
Congratulations Eric. I received mine yesterday and it is just awesome! I am so impressed with the whole visual they really did a great job. I can’t stp running it and staring at it.
Congratulations Eric u have worked so hard for this and now it’s here all I have to say is u have inspired me to want to get trains but I don’t have them rn
I have been bummed for months that I missed out on getting one of these. Then somehow, Legacy Station had one in stock last week and now it’s mine. 17/150! Eric, thanks for the beautiful locomotive and everything you do for this hobby!
Congratulations Eric quite an achievement. I love the red and white. Paint scheme, very reminiscent of my 1st Lionel train, a 1958 Texas special A/B this is so cool. You are a true original, just like this engine. Enjoy every moment of this exciting time.
I smiled through this whole video, I’ve been watching you forever & I am very happy for you. Unfortunately I was too late for this run, but if you ever do another custom run, I’ll be sure to snag one up.
Very cool Eric, I think you should consider doing a Wide vision caboose for your custom order. Thanks for showing all of this procedure. Your the king of 3 rail on YT!
Congratulations on your train! must feel surreal to have your very own branded train on a Lionel loco. Love the video, can't wait to see the next Eric's train..well...train!
That looks like a great locomotive. I was unable to get one this time, but looking forward to the next offering. Congratulations and keep up the great work!
Eric, I have been following your channel since 2010 so I am celebrating this awesome achievement with you! I can’t wait to get my locomotive in a few days and run it myself! Congrats and wishing you more success with your channel in the future! 🚂😃👏🎉
Eric, I remember sitting on my couch in 2010, sick as I could be from a combination of swine flu, pneumonia, and strep throat. I was 8 years old and still to this day have never been so sick, but I remember the only thing that made me feel better and only thing that distracted me was your RU-vid channel. I had just started watching your channel and for about 2 days I watched all the Vlogs, starting at #1 all the way up to #12 (the newest one at the time if I remember correctly.) I specifically recall being on episode 8 and being so excited to get all the way to 12 to see the most updated and newest editions of the layout I almost couldn't wait and wanted to just watch it right after 8, but I said there's no reason to rush it and go back to feeling how sick I was. After I was caught up, I went through all your videos, including concert videos and super early layout videos. Your channel was better than any of the medicine I could've been given. I've followed the channel ever since, wishing I could make the trip from Michigan to Georgia to see an open house, which I still plan on doing someday, but to see this video and the joy on your face and in your voice means so much to me. Thank you for creating this channel and sharing your passion with the rest of us. Congratulations on the ES44, you have well-earned it and are very well deserving, it is so nice to see you get rewarded for all the joy you've brought to me and I'm sure the rest of your viewers.
First off Congrats that’s amazing to have your own engine made by Lionel Second: is it just me or is there a different feeling when you go to pick up a new train That car ride just feels amazing both ways
Just got the invoice for mine from Legacy Station. Can't wait for it to arrive. Finally getting to build a permanent layout next month. This will be the first locomotive I run on my new layout. Thanks Eric for doing this.
Congratulations on this Eric. I would love to get big enough in one of my hobbies that the producer of materials for my hobby would be willing to work with me on custom parts toward said hobby. You have knocked this one out of the park, and If I had a layout and the money to buy one of these (Neither of which I currently possess) I would love to have one. May they all go to good homes.
Those engines look beautiful! If you ever have a second engine done please, if possible, have them be SD70ACe units. I would definitely get one. Personally never been a fan of the GE look. Too slim. I like diesels with meat on em.
love that horn. I remember you saying how much you liked that horn on that NS sd70ace you have from many years ago. did you intentionally have them program that horn?
Hello Eric! Congratulations to Lionel Trains making an engine with your name on it. That's awesome when a manufacturer has that kind of relationship with you that they actually make a product line after you and you don't own the company. Congratulations. I love your channel and love watching your videos. I'm a N scaler and I'm sure you can figure I collect KATO, but you have really amped up my interest in O Scale. Keep it going and continued success.
Looks great, sounds good, AND it's a custom run for one of my favorite channels. Did I hear you say it's $630 for a top of the line Lionel ES44? Can't believe I missed it.
Love my Eric's Trains locos. Mine is #103 of 150. I made a comment on the 4-12-2 loco about me getting the Eric's Trains locos. But I said that mine was #109! Oopsy daisy! That was wrong. Lol. It sure is a great looking loco. Also just wanted to forwarn people that from the 2022 vol. 1 catalog with the ES44AC locos that I ordered both the black US Armed Forces. When I opened both of them up only one of them is powered. The other one is non-powered! But I paid the full price of it being powered! So I have to take it back and get my money back!
