I just built this beautiful p-38, my first twin engine, and the left one cut mid flight. It was devastating but very cinematic!

Alex is right, super rare to have Josh have as in it a critique for an aircraft. Ever since the Air Aces review Mr. Bixler has always had a reputation of the guy who sees the good, in any airplane, mostly.

I've never heard any of them say anything negative about a Horizon Hobby product. I love Flite Test but I don't trust the reviews at all.

Both my father and uncle were pilots and spent a lot of time in Beechcrafts. While demonstrating a D17 with a customer someone forgot to put the landing gear down! Happened a lot in real life.

I got that plane for christmas. I fell in love with the design at EAA last year. Mine arrived fine and flies great....I just suck at landing. And the landing gear are notorious for breaking on the first hard landing. Glue them back on better than the factory did and they are fine. And my landing gear have always worked.

I like the fact this wasnt an outstanding airplane, but the fact the aircraft can be redeemed but with a bit of work, maybe makes it worth getting one. Sometimes those are the best planes. the ones you have to give a little bit extra to. Nice video, love it.

In the beginning you said you out the battery in the nose like you had an option. So if it’s nose heave throwing off the CG can you put it behind the seat instead? Might make it a little less twitchy with a better CG?

Landing gear issue is that it's not going ALL the way up. Needs a couple washers under the inside mount screws and under the plastic so that it closes without binding. FMS was popular for that.

That looked so fun!!! I really enjoy flying drones!!! This is a great channel!!! I live close to cleveland so im really looking forward to your new spot opening by Cleveland ohio!!!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flying f.p.v. drones is the most fun i have ever had !!! But it cost a lot and i suck at computers so it really just makes me up set more then anything!! Like today i drove down town with my g.p.s. drone flew around in the wind! And my 10 year old laptop wont read the s.d. card!! Or my 1st race drone was a rtf grasshopper f210 from gearbest! It was 250$ and man was it fast!! But the crappy remote had some wires loose and it just flew away!! I got a Qx-7 after that and a furibee 215!! They fly great but my goggles just are not good!! Thats what i get buying used goggles!! So im taking a break i guess!! Flying drones makes me happy but im always sad so i give up and will stay sad!!! Hopefully i can save money and get better goggles and a small fpv drone to fly!!! Sorry for the rant!!! GREAT CHANNEL!!!!

I LOVE your channel. I have a suggestion. Get back to flying quads, production quads and not modified, and give tips and suggestions on how to fly, software apps and video taking tips. Or, do some radical things with regular drones. Like, try and get max altitude on a Phantom 3 standard. Hacks? or, maybe there are custom additions you can do to a Phantom - or any quad. That is more something that has a broader appeal. Right now, you are leaning towards the race quad crowd which is fine, but, it is more specialized. Your channel could give us something on your regular quads that no other channel could. Try that out please! In solidarity.

I've had one of these for a couple of years, still can't make it fly worth a darn. You think you have it dialed in, then the slightest landing mishap and it goes over on it's nose and wipes out the motor mount. Painful. If I didn't love Staggerwings SO much and had waited for years to have one, I'd have chucked this plane long ago. Well, time to put on a new prop...

Polikarpov I-153s had retractable undercarriage, I can't think of any other biplanes apart from that and the Staggerwing with retractable undercarriage.

I love Horizon products, but I have had products that didn't work right out of the box from them too, so its not always a brand thing. However, Horizon always took care of me right away. One time I got a bad motor or ESC in one of the UMX pitts right out of the box. Horizon sent me a new motor, but sent me the wrong motor. When I called back and told them, the apologized profusely and sent me a whole new plane!!! That is why I always buy from them.

You didn't test its survivability by either flying it into obstacles or into the ground. Also were they Deans plugs? People still use those. I flicked threw that video, nice model, but not for me.

If they show planes, people complain it's just planes. If they show quads, people complain it's just quads... How are they supposed to make it right for everyone? Also I'm pretty sure it's not going to be sold in the store. Not with Josh's first impressions and the bad quality of the electronics.

Good to see the poor quality of the components of rochobby/fms planes getting the bad exposure that it needs. Hopefully motion rc eradicates these duds from its lineup. Their racing corsair is just about the only plane that is awesome.
