This is a BMTH song of course, so BABYMETAL had never played it live at all until these NEX_FEST events in Japan arranged by BMTH and where they had already played their own set. But BABYMETAL are so professional, of course they developed new choreography especially for the song and these shows. Oli Sykes did say that BMTH had to concentrate hard on playing the song since they all really wanted to watch BABYMETAL's choreo to see what they were going to do.
Welcome back MattablesMetal, it's been a while, hope to see you around with more BM songs. This was madness and fans couldn't be more happy about it after so many years waiting for this at last. You gotta love MoaMetal and the girls headbanging real hard at the end, but my only complain here is they didn't show SuMetal thanking BMTH back at the end, it's ok thou, there's plenty of fancams around showing that and some different interactions between Oli and the girls at the end if you wanna look for it. The first time they performed this was a few days ago from this live at Kobe, later it was at Nagoya (MoaMetal's hometown) and here at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, not exactly Tokyo but it's close. Btw that drum&bass intro is called "Itch For The Cure" (it's a tribute to Cure For The Itch by Linkin Park), although if you remember that dialogue wasn't part of the album track, it's another tribute to Metal Gear Solid videogame by Hideo Kojima. Bands always do that here in the states too, they'll usually call out the closest big town even if they're not playing there. Besides, "Let's go Chiba" doesn't have the same ring as "Let's go, Tokyo" 🤘
It was more a BMTH Festival and Babymerl had there normal Concerts an d it was areanged that they came to the BMTH Performance. It were 4 Concerts at the first Performance Su fumbled. She danced to much, went out of breath. So Moa had to readjust her Sus dancing.
I’m currently binging your babymetal reactions (almost at the end) and it’s crazy how everything comes full circle. I don’t know if you still cover babymetal but there’s some pretty good songs you haven’t done yet like the “black babymetal” songs (moa and yui duo), Rondo of nightmare, and yava are all good suggestions.
When the graphics for the Nex_Fest were published and both names were on them, everyone knew that this performance would finally happen after 3 years of waiting. But boy, did sh*t get real when the first fancams were uploaded on Tw. :) The awesome intro that gets every gamer's adrenaline pumping, Su's voice and the girls' choreography, just everything at that moment.... The hype was real, the years of waiting were worth it and the whole thing was/is an incredible explosion of energy. 💥 I didn't care that I had to be at work the next morning and I spent half the night watching these clips and waiting for new ones. Never seen you so lost for words!! LOL. This blew me away too.... So much joy, happiness and brutal rock all at once. This performance and video work has made so many people satisfied; "this is what we wanted" for over 3 years, and we finally "f'n got it!!" My favorite part is where Moa is living her best life and enjoying performing for this song at 8:48. Thanks for sharing this with so many!!!

Babymetal haven't performed this song live prior to NEX_FEST at all, so they came up with the choreo specially for this performance. Who knows when or if we will ever see it done live like this again? It's very possible that this was a one off event that will never be repeated.

Throne was featured on the band's 2015 fifth studio album That's the Spirit It's kinda funny because it's the only BMTH album i'm familiar with, and just recently started listening to it 🤣🤣
