Thanks Tom, I appreciate it!....open water is here, can’t wait to get all the new toys on the water and put em to the test, and make some follow up videos reviewing it all!
Wow def going to have to modify the boat cover! Cover will prob put a lot of pressure on that mount/ducer. I have concerns with cover issues just with the ducer mounted on the TM shaft.
yes sir, that's the only negative with any of these kinds of mounts...I actually don't use cover much, so for me it's well worth the trade off, but I may have mine altered to fit just in case!
I also have the Live scanner with the ghost and the live site i would like to hear or see how you mounted the active target to the live scanner. what is your clearance so you are not seeing the ghost head with the live scanner. I watched your viedo on mounting the active target to the ghost and that was very informative. thanks for all your help.......... Gary
Hey Gary!...yea absolutely, that’s one of my next videos...I’m going to do a full review of the Live Scanner on the water so I’ll be sure to include the mounting of the AT!
I really appreciate the vid and helpful. Just got a ghost and now ordering 52” live scanner for active target (which is back ordered right now). Question - What mounting bracket brand are you using for dual front graphs? Thanks
Nice!...you’re gonna love it!...and I have my dual 16’s mounted on a custom Precision Sonar Mount, best on the market...rock solid even with 2 16” Lives...if ya decide to go that route, call and ask for Jordan, tell him I sent ya and he’ll take care of ya!
Hey Philip!...yea no prob, I got them from Zdecals but unfortunately last I checked they don’t make them anymore...check with a company called Sign Impressions, I’m not sure if they do but that may be your best bet...they also have high quality carpet decals...hope that helps!
Can you actually doing on the water in scout mode settings showing structure in fish maybe pan above the water and then show with the fishfinder showing under the water scout mode there’s not that much out there I’m right on the fence
Yepper!...they actually have a “swing away” option for the Ultrex if you wanted to add that feature on, it allows ya to swing the mount over to side to fit boat cover better...definitely give it a look, this thing is awesome!
It’s similar, but this one offers the variable speed which is huge to me!...Cornfield Crappie mount is very good as well, but doesn’t offer that at this time
Thanks Gary!...yes sir, I use the cable clips from Amped Outdoors, I got them after making this video so that’s why they’re not featured here...thanks for watching!
I bought the livescanner pro elite also, putting it on a Ghost with active target. Does the foot control have programmed stops so it doesn't hit the trolling motor shaft when spinning around? Mine won't clear the trolling motor shaft. Not sure if I have it on wrong but it pretty much goes on one way....
Hmm, something doesn’t sound right, I have no issues with that at all...I can spin my AT all the way right or left and it doesn’t hit my Ghost shaft, I would call or email them and see what they say...but mine doesn’t hit the shaft at all!
@@NitroZ18Fishing Thanks. I will call them Monday since it is Easter weekend. I powered up the unit and with the transducer stopping just before it hits the tm shaft, I spin it to the right it will stop looking almost straight back. It definitely doesn't go 360 degrees, more like 280 degrees. I know you put yours on the port side, mine is starboard side. I even tried moving the at transducer to the other side of the livescanner shaft, still hit the tm shaft.
They don’t have that one listed, but shoot them an email…they’ll let ya know if they have anything at all that would work, they’re great to do business with!
Hey Jeff, I am unfortunately unfamiliar with the Terrova… I’ve never owned one and actually have never been on a boat with one… I would send them an email and ask, Ron is a great guy to deal with!
