These are the personal experiences of seven older Chinese immigrants living on the North Shore of Auckland. They are also the stories of all older Chinese immigrants in Aotearoa.
In these stories, we see the tenacity and resilience of grandparents who selflessly dedicate themselves to their children and their grandchildren.
They also actively participate in community activities and charity undertakings, making contributions to their home away from home.
