After watching a whole lot of bad players demo the Loar 520, this was refreshing. Excellent playing and a very worthy demo.

Lovely demo - thanks. Great to hear the sound of this to make it easier when considering buying it and you covered all the bases with picking strumming and the full range of the fret-board. I wish there were more demos like this with skilled players like you. When you live in a remote small town, the chances of going into a shop and checking out different mandolins is limited but if you buy online you've no idea what they sound like! Thanks again. All that's missing is a handy link to an online store where it's available at a good price.

I'm saddened that most of the mandolins available these days are CCP made. At least the affordable ones that is. Anything of fine quality made in USA is incredibly expensive.

Is it easy to transfer from guitar to mandolin? :)
