Problem is that when you book a flight or hotel to Dubai, there is no small print on what their rules and customs are, if people knew what the laws where then people would be less likely to fall foul of them

Cut a long story short...we noticed was an extra bag when they put shopping in car!!! Yeah fuckin right!!! Also Dubai police would not be taking you to the desert for torture and again in yr hotel, it's not a failed state country!! I have never felt threatened or unsafe in the uae…keep your nose clean, behave with decent and modesty…I have visited the uae x5 a year for seven years visiting family out there. I’m a white western woman…I’ve never even seen a police officer! Stick to the rules, don’t get drunk, do r take drugs, stay away from the prostitution and all will be well. Other countries have different laws…arrogant to believe they’re the same as the uk.
Nothing is to stay positive I tried to suicide twice many actually suicide story's untold I was imprison for a year and 3 months just for visa expired to take off deportation took this long but never took off deportation and was deported to a country that I never visited I was born in UAE in 1973 with UAE birth certificate, mentioned UAE national but they never issued me UAE passport like many others still there. I was born and raised in UAE for 47 years when they deported me they didn't let me say good bye to my family or my kids in the airport couldn't see or meet them they didn't let me take my bag money my mobile from my kids they deported me empty hands with only Aed 6 into my pocket I had to sleep on the airport chair for 2 days without food or water I didn't know where to go when I was deported shame on UAE

He Wasn’t tortured in the desert, he didn’t spend 3 or 4 weeks with a broken hand, on the 3rd or 5th day he would a visit from the British embassy then he’s treatment would change. He got caught with drugs and they only slap him around to get the info of who sold it to him. To much drama with this kid.

Yes true they beat u if u get hurt or got bruises on u they don't take u to hospital or a court until they see u are fine I knew some of inmates their nails were pulled or electric shocked and some where put a plastic bag into their head so they suffocate by CID just to convince the crime which they didn't commit a pakistani truck driver was brought to CID they asked him to sign around 5 papers it was written in arabic when the driver asked what is it I sign they told him it's just you are innocent so he signed all the papers then they throw him into jail with us later he was jailed with stolen 5 containers sent to 5 years imprison
