My dark theory is that Itadori will be the last death of the series and the "surrounded by people who love you" part will be him dying surrounded by the bodies of all his dead friends

Yuuji will be the only one alive while Sukuna will be sealed for another 1000 hours. In that way both Yuuji and Sukuna lives and cycle of curses continues.

Im worried everyone Yuuji loves dies but then Gege writing something like Yuuji sacrificing himself to bring everyone back and then dying surrounded by the people he loved. 😭 That be the worse possible outcome for me, I dont want to see any more dead characters Gege

I think him surviving would be a good resolution for his character. Throughout the story, we’re shown that throwing your life away or devaluing yourself to something as lowly as a cog in a machine isn’t a healthy mindset and shouldn’t be how Yuji’s character arc ends as the main protagonist. He should be like Yuta in the way that he’s at a dark period in his life with a dark mindset but through circumstances, grows and changes and eventually realizes that he has a right to live, that it’s ok for him to be alive, breaking the sacrificial mindset he’s had for the whole series and chooses to live to the very end, possibly ending up as the new mentor figure for the next generation of Jujutsu Sorcerers when everything is over.

Nah, make it worse. “Yuji will die surrounded by people.” Could also mean corpses or the unliving.

Yuuji was cursed by his granpapa and when he is at moments of sudden death, if no friends are around he “makes” the enemy his friend this always ensuring that he will not die alone.

Gege is writing in such a way to make it seem like Gojo megumi and nobara are dead. But I think he’s going to revive them at the end and have yuji die. That’s also why he created yuji so his main protag yuta wouldn’t die. Yuji and sukuna cannot coexist. So they’ll die together and that’s yujis meaningful death :)

I could see the ending being that everyone but yuji dies, but he inherits Gojo’s will by educating the next generation of jujitsu sorcerers

Don’t disrespect Itadori by saying he got lucky beating Mahito. Once a sorcerer successful hits a Black Flash, they enter a flow state called “The Zone”. He knew how dire the situation was, and since he already is used to doing Black Flash on command since his fight with Hanami it was over once he focuses up and enters The Zone.

Gege has been building up the theme of Strongest=Loneliest with Gojo,Sukuna,and Kashimo. what if Yuji becomes the strongest through solitude&compassion by absorbing Sukuna’s soul&evolving into the next guardian of jujutsu society?

I do agree with this idea as a very likely thing to play out, maybe even ending in final scene of him teaching the next generation. But another idea I like is us seeing him die "alone" just to see a scene similar to the end of the first op. Him sitting under a tree at a picnic with all the friends he made during his time as a sorcerer, similar to what we see with Gojo. It's a bittersweet way of us seeing Yuji's dream come true. He'll die thinking he's all alone, saying sorry to his grandpa in the afterlife that he couldn't die being surrounded by others, just to reveal all his friends. First Megumi, then Nobara, then Gojo, then everyone else from there. We see his cursed womb brothers, Yaga, basically anyone close to Yuji who died

tbh choso had the power the sense his brother whenever they're going to die. that's why when he want to kill yuji he had those memories which implied that yuji is indeed his brother

Yuji IS the merger. He HAS to die with Tengen, Sukuna and Kenjacku in him as a vessel IF NOT, Tengen, one of the wrathful curses, Kali Yuga, will destroy the world. Only Makis sword can kill all 4 at once. Yujis mom is 100% a star plasma vessel via her gravity CT. He’s also a Shaman based on his father’s side based on the fact he already could see spirits, this is Shamanism which can vessel “kami’s.” So he’s made from 2 vessels and everything will be revealed when Kenjacku merges with Yuji and Kenjacku reveals his plan that he can read the future and the curse womb paintings and everything was planned by Kenjacku specifically for Yuji. Even the prison realm was done on purpose to MAKE GOJO STRONGER. Without the prison realm Gojo had zero chance. Gojo had to live with his 6 eyes unblinded without being able to die thus making him stronger. This is a fact. Kenjacku places the prison realm there on purpose to give himself time for Sukuna to protect him. Kenjacku is using Sukuna without him knowing to kill the MOST DANGEROUS CURSE TENGEN. But he also has to kill Sukuna and he needs Sukuna to die and come back as a wrathful curse. We have seen 2 Sukunas. Wrathful curse Sukuna and this humanoid Sukuna. That wrathful curse we saw of Sukuna was a FUTURE Sukuna exactly like we saw Sukunas true body first chapter. Kenjacku is revealing the future via specific panels. He’s what is called a fortune teller. If Kenjacku can already change bodies, why would he learn to also exchange his soul into figures? To specifically teach it to Sukuna because he needs sukuna in the future. This is a 2000 year old plan. NOBODY KNOWS THERES 2 GOLDEN AGES IN JAPAN. Just google “Japan golden age.” 1 is Heian period poetry and 1 is 1000 years prior Religion. Shintoism. Sukuna is a shaman with buddhist teachings. He’s a mixture of shintoism and buddhism which ALL shrines come from SHINTO, not buddhism. Ise shrine. This is where it all starts and comes from. You’re wrong about a couple things. Plot armor DOES exist in JJK, it’s just that the villians have it, and 2, Yuji’s mom was a sorcerer so he does technically come from a sorcerer family

I mean if Yuji is the only that survives there wouldn't be another story because it would be just him and at that point I wouldn't know how to approach another chapter of JJK

Yuji will only learn his true strength under the same circumstances that Sukuna did. Loneliness. Yuji’s potential has no limits, no boundaries.

This ending will be bitter sweet like AOT. Half the fandom will hate it while the other half will think it’s a good ending. Regardless I will respect whatever ending gege plans.

Yeah I'm expecting a bitter sweet ending. Good guys will probably win solely due to numbers but hardly anyone will be left at the end, Yuji being one of them. I could see Sukuna being sealed again but inside Yuji until he dies and he goes with him when Yuji passes. Basically a boring but peaceful life sentence. Kenjaku will most likely succeed with his experiment but die happy having achieved it and it's most likely going to determine how sad the ending will be if the curse god thing he makes ends up being unstoppable or not. I will be shocked if this series has a true happy ending honestly.

Jjk’s villains are the ones with plot armor (I’m more so talking about Kenny and Sukana atp) Kenny winning against Yuki because his CT tanks a black hole and Sukana cutting through the world itself

Considering that absolutely selfishness is the best mindset in JJK, I thi k the only way the series could end is by either having that mindset challenged by Yuji, or by Yuji adopting this mindset and essentially becoming the next Sukuna or something along those lines. Just look at Sukuna, Kenjaku, and even Mei Mei if you want to see where selfishness gets you. Mei Mei is rich and easily steals the dreams of others, like going to Malaysia like Nanmi wanted right before he died. Kenjaku could potentially destroy the world because he's just bored. Then Sukuna attained his power because he is only interested in his own whims. The closest thing he has to friends or bonds would be Uraume, someone who literally worships him, and Kenjaku, who is essentially a business partner.

In shonen manga, all of the main characters are born into powerful families, bloodlines, so if you apply that to JJK, you can just make an educated guess. He was probably born from sukuna's blood line, or some other crazy fusion of every powerful monster in history.

yuji swapin is body with sukuna's and killing him like that ... cold that would mean that Yuji in sukuna's body ....will be a target again thus him still dying in the end of the story

None of the characters get plot armor, wrong the villains get the plot armor.

An everyone dies ending would piss off a lot of casual anime onlys and possibly tank Geges career.(i.e. game of thrones)

i genuinly think itadori will be the only one to die aand the others will live and i know it soounds kinda outlandish but i just dont think gojo is dead for good honestly and it would match what his grandfather said as he will be the hero of the story and die around people that love and care for him and it would also be a great plot twist

I am sitting on the other side of this theory.XD We don't know Nobara's status, Megumi might still be there inside, and Gojo might come back.. I think Gege will pull a fast one on us, and reverse all the dmg that was done so far, with only Yuji dying, but dying surrouned by everyone, and i like that, because that's what Yuji wanted in the first place.

They said JJK was a Naruto clone. Little did they know Yuji's getting the Denji ending.

A good way could just be yuuji becomes the next sukuna in a more figurative sense. Without saying too much he beats sukuna but at the cost of everyone and being the only one alive he realizes the conclusion that sukuna had which is love ain't worth shit.

No. Yuji will live as a human by the end of the series. We still don’t know Nobara’s status right? But I think she’s gone and will not be back again(this may sound cruel I know) but nothing can be done to her anymore(iykyk) Yuji will be executed as a vessel. I talked with some people on twt that someone might sacrifice something to bring Yuji back to no longer live as a vessel but as himself as a human.

I feel like after watching the anime compared to the manga it goes a lot faster. With that being said, I feel as if it is very fishy that Gojo gets sealed then comes back and dies in what will probably 2-3 episodes of the show. After all that had happened and all that their whole plan was to get him unsealed. I'm just saying its really fishy along with the fact that when watching the show you see these parallels to the soul beating the body like with Toji. I definitely think Gojo is dead I'm just saying this stuff is a little odd.
