Another thing for low-mid ranks: you need to be making decisions much faster, whenever you watch these ranks play you can see points where it's clear they could have made a decision 5 seconds to a minute faster. Two main examples being: 1.) The "pub push syndrome" from Team Fortress 2 where you stand around twiddling your thumbs and staring at air for the entire round until the announcer says 10 seconds are left and realize "oh shit, I need to do something", leading you to being rushed to make a play and dying since you're scrambling. 2.) You're indecisive when you're low on time, not committing to getting frags or getting case planted- subsequently doing nothing and inadvertently giving a freebie round to the other team through time outs.

ngl being quick and nimble and trying to pre-fire where I know an enemy should be gets me killed, cuz they just expect me or slightly reposition and then I lose the gunfight. Or they swing me, while I'm watching the corner and I die.

Honestly the best way to play (and the funnest) is to not care about the win or rank. I hate making mistakes I know I could've avoided. But If I create a plan, execute it, and try my best then I'm having fun. Then it's about taking mental notes about my fk ups so I can work on it the next game. Suddenly you're a couple divisions higher than you were.

Easy to get champ? I'm in champ lobbies pulling my weight every single quick match but I'm hardstuck in gold because of the trash algorithm and fake visual rank. Honestly gave up, not rewarding at all having a 1.5+ kd getting hardstuck with a 1.5 w/l like how does that make any sense
