I have a question for people in Ghana. Here on the channel there are a lot of videos of wonderful construction investments in Ghana. People in the comments write that this is the beginning of Ghana getting rich, but as far as I know, Ghana has gigantic economic problems: 50% inflation, 70% national debt, power outages, money printing. Building airports, ports, highways and railroads is very important and allows the economy to grow, but building soccer stadiums or public use buildings is a bad idea during a crisis. This is reminiscent of my country, which wanted to get out of massive poverty, so it took out huge loans to expand the economy, but most of the investments failed to materialize and the country went bankrupt. So what is the situation in Ghana really like? Is the country rapidly expanding, or is it just success propaganda? Do people believe all these projects will succeed, or are they skeptical?

I'm not sure if you're purposely trying to spread a narrative or not, but the economic crisis has greatly improved over the past year. Our inflation rate was 50% a year ago. It's 23% now and only getting lower. Our currency is regaining value, and our economy is projected to grow faster than expected this year...

Historical Ghana was located on the territory of today's Mauritania and Mali, and its historical heir is Mali. The territory of today's Ghana formerly housed the Ashanti Empire State, and even earlier the Dogbon and Bono State. Why does modern Ghana by its name refer to a foreign state, instead of one of the former states of which it is real the historical heir?
