Fantastic job - one of the best British crime movies ever that was so current at the time. Bob Hoskins was simply incredible in this god rest his soul .
I have only found out today Francis Monkman died earlier this year He composed the music for this film. 🙏🙏😢😢❤️❤️ I remember watching this film back then - oh my Everything you want in a film and British too Looking at the cast it started careers in a big way for Derek Thompson and Pierce Brosnan and Helen of course TLGF has aired on Tv in the intervening 40+ years and you can see how much London has changed. 😍😍👍 👍 🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏🙏❤️❤️🏴🏴
Well down, this is my favorite British Gangster film and you kept the darkness that Harold's world encompasses in the trailer. Bob Hoskins is by far one of the best actors to come out of the UK.
Best cast ever, I would see anything that has a young Pierce Brosnan looking super handsome and suave as my Irish man always was born to rule the screens with those boyish charms. 😎
The original trailer was hopeless...this is much better...should have used a few of Shand's great quotes though...plus a bit of the music. The film blew me away when i saw it in '81.
Even in modern trailers, do they tend to go back to characters or scenes multiple times, and would there be any reason to feature Pierce Brosnan as prominently as you do, considering this was one of his first movies, in which he had no lines? But generally, this trailer is good.
I love the movie and the score, but saying it's the best ever is beyond the stretch of imagination. There are better movies. However, it is the best ever.British gangster movie , that's true.
