Theres a certain charm to old railroad safety films. Also intersting this was filmed seemingly in Utah.

12:05 An Army surplus Jeep. I know that some people would love to have a Jeep from those days. Back then, Jeeps were made by Willys-Overland and they were built to last.

I remember going to the city library and watching these movies when I was a kid, watching one movie after another.

I remember seeing this film on a show in Cincinnati called, "Police call". I often wondered if the kid killed in the car/train crash was a true and this was his father standing over his grave. Also, the cars the kids were injured by are the same car sets.

All that little girl got was a broken leg? 😮

All of the schoolchildren of Bountiful, Utah, must be of the Mormon faith.

I know that some people like to make jokes about things like this, but this is very serious. Trains are troublesome to stop. This is not about what beliefs these children had in the movie. This is not about if the one kid being killed by a train is true or not. It is about teaching railroad safety.

There’s a lesson for everyone in this film, don’t play games with trains, whether in the yard or on the main line, the train always wins.
