What most people don't understand is when AOE 2 came out everyone played BF maps. It was always that way even team maps. People always played with no siege and franks were too over powered.

42:00 Not only is Andy attack-grounding the open space, he's only using a few of the trebs. Think that's what got the cannons, JorDan hadn't realised how many trebs were there because only four were firing, suddenly the sky was falling on them!

That was nice play from both, but Jordan really deserved that win, onager cuts around Andys base, raids, BBC micro, that stable in Andys base, sniping market......man Jordan was really pain in the ass in this one, if someone would do all these things to me I would not be tilted, I would be rotating.

Felt like the villager fight wasn't really worth it, one of those things that if you don't fight you are at a massive disadvantage but because you have to fight you are disadvantaged... But it all evens out since you both have to do it.

The Longbow is theoretically, the best unit in the game when you have enough of them and you can do perfect micro management, even their counters get wrecked from afar when you got the right amount.

my longest game ever was on giant land nomad where it was 1v1v1 at the end and nobody could get an advantage without getting crushed by the other. 14 hours.... I might still have the rec. Like 2002.

I always thought you had a pretty good balance between talking to chat, talking about stuff / telling stories and talking about the game. I think as a commentator it is better to be in the "flow" and talk about anything than to strictly stay on topic.

in english the name is that of the region black forest, but in german the name of the map is "dunkler wald" meaning dark forest and not "Schwarzwald"

If vietnamese had Blast Furnace the light cav would have sniped so many more trebs; there were dozens of fights where they just barely failed to clear up Andy's trebs and Jordan had to respect the few remaining instead of pushing with BBC.

I don't think relics are bad for long games. Relics enabling siege is the only thing that can let you ultimately push forward. Without relics you'd not be able to make siege, if both players had castels you'd be stuck foerever unable to destroy them
