@@th3Kun yup but tires still wear out so it’s still impressive. I see your point it may have not been drifting on regular road but it’s still impressive those tires held up that long.
Going sideways for 8hrs nonstop without breaking down? Sounds like a "durability" advertisement for BMW😅 Edit: yess... Finally my own comment section without a keyboard war (even though it's still filled with stereotypical bs💀)
@@F22RaptorIsTheBestPlaneidk about puking because the acceleration was probably pretty constant while he did it…but man his head was definitely spinning for hours after that, he probably needed a wheelchair after his record. Ain’t no way his brain’s equilibrium wasn’t all messed up 😂
Bruuuh, I feel like shit after 15 minutes sitting at my janky ass sim rig. Bro should become a government employee being able to micromanage for that long.
@@That0neSRTstill, even on a skid pad you would think that the tires would wear out after an hour of drifting and spinning the tires, but 8 hours??? Holy shit. The car and the tires are hella impressive to be able to handle that. Not to mention the amount of skill and focus it takes to drift an entire work day. Can’t imagine how hard that was. Don’t see anyone beating this for quite some time.
@@Dimpy-mn7dlnah the points get cut off unless you change direction. This wouldn’t have been any more points than a single 5-10 second skid, except it was thousands of them
Can you imagine clocking into work, seeing someone drifting, finishing your entire shift and leaving, and that mf is STILL on that SAME drift 💀 lmao?!?!
@quay1620 The test track is within the main buildings area and is part of the "Road Test" Job description to test the SUVs there. The "test course" is another thing and what you can see... with those off roading set ups is also part of the test course and also some buyers can test the SUVs there. And the pick up center as well is over there because some people schedule a flight to pick up their $100,000+ SUV.
@@InitialDreadly not underestimating it at all, I have a LOT of experience with these Nissan engines as both the VQ and the VR, as I've owned a 2011 GT-R and the wife has had both the Renault Espace 3.5 V6 and the Renault Laguna 3 Coupe 3.5 V6. The Renault is still kicking on but sold the GT-R some years ago. Bent two rods, and replaced the turbo at about 150000km. Was a nice car to own but the problems drove me up the wall.
Johan:"ima set a record for the longest drift in the world" Herrard:"hehe i beat your record" Johan:"i beat your record again, but even longer so you can't beat my record again"
What kinda tires did he have on this car that made this possible? I’m thinking even In wet conditions the tires would still wear down way less than 8 hrs, that sound insane.
in Russia, they did not set an official world record for time in a skid, if I'm not mistaken, the car was driving somewhere in a skid on the ice for 20 hours
