Great job driving, I would have felt safe with you if i was in the car or driving in the car ext to you! It is good that you show us you driving. Proves that people don't need to be alarmed when they see someone in a wheelchair driving!

My longest drive(s) were between Seattle, Wa and Phoenix, Az. I didn't go by myself, but I was the sole driver, so we stopped for the night a few times.

When I was a kid; my aunt, my mother, my brother and I drove to Ft. Myers FL from Cleveland OH. We made some pit stops along the way like Marietta GA, to visit family, or in Tennessee to swim in the pool. The longest I’ve ever driven myself was from Chicago East to Cleveland, about 6 hrs. My parents didn’t want me to drive because I was with friends, but I figured I was the safer of the eligible driving candidates that morning. At the time I wasn’t using any adaptations (other than a pillow underneath me), so I could drive any car. I’d almost rather drive because if I’m just riding I feel more cramped than if I’m driving. That doesn’t make much sense, maybe it’s just that I pay more attention to how I’m feeling when I’m riding in the car, whereas when I drive I’m paying attention to the road and the car etc.

The longest drive I've taken was about 11 1/2 - 12 hours from South Carolina to Virginia. The more often I went the better our timing got, but still long...whew!!

My longest trip was northern Illinois to Dallas, Texas. 13.5 hours. Did it a few times when I moved to Texas and would come home to visit. Loved driving at night, roads are empty except for long haul truckers and they are the politest people to share the road with

Yep, and I love stopping at truck stops. They usually have clean bathrooms, and cool stores to look around in. I always feel safer at truck stops than a regular gas station.

Hey, Cole and Charisma! I've been following the page for about a year. I've watched a lot of your older videos. I'm wondering if you have ever shown Cole getting gas at a gas station...I have think it would make for interesting video of him and his independence as a quad. I'm sure Charisma fuels up most of the time but it'd be neat to see how Cole does it when he's out. Thanks for the great content each week. Sincerely, a disabled part time wheelchair user. ☺️

-Whhhaattt Armando in the flesh! Haha! That game was so funny too! My longest consecutive drive was 24 hours from AZ to WA with only food and gas stops 😳 I was munching 1 smart food popcorn kernel at a time when I got sleepy and that helped keep me awake haha

Love that drive! Best way to go to Az from Washington state is down I-5 to 99 (The highway 99 in Washington state is part of the same highway, I-5 replaced most of it.), to avoid that busy area going through LA, then taking the highway that goes through needles and Barstow out to Az, and then down 93 to 60 out though Surprise and over to Phoenix, anf then the same route reversed to go back.

This summer, my wife and I are spending our 1-year anniversary taking a “second honeymoon” going from Minnesota and making stops at the Badlands , Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park and the Black Hills. Last year, COVID forced us to change all of our original wedding and honeymoon plans three weeks before.

Glad you all made it safe. I love it how Sophie was so happy when you guys stopped and then how she place her paw on Charisma when she put her arm on Cole. I just love it. Charisma what kind of treat did you give Sophie to keep her calm and relaxed. Loved this video! It reminds me of when I drove me & my best friend to Atlanta, GA. I had to rent a scooter for her to use (Para due to Spina Bifida), and I had to take apart/put together everytime we got in/out of the car! Killed my elbows, but had a blast!

We drove from Houston TX to Norfolk Virginia to spend Christmas with my son 2 years ago. I believe 23 hrs straight through. My husband and I team drove. My son was stationed there. Stay Pawsitive!
