She's really good in cqs as she's hard to kill. With healing ccs, and the healing bonus cc, she's even harder to kill. Don't really need her to loop for farming since Zerkerlot is a thing.
Honestly yeah, she can even Solo Erice CQ with quite a lot of health to spare for example (though damage mod does help). I honestly would use her as an Anchor, where, only needing to buff herself, turn her into an absolute beast.
She really would be better as a single target, her card damage is pretty strong and she lives for fucking ever so it would really be good for her, maybe they’ll just buff her np
I think the issue is ONLY looking at her looping potential. Lakshmibai functions as an offensive support especially for other sabers, crit characters, and Imperial Privilege users (even if that setup is gonna be jank). I mean that won't stop me from putting 2 Skadi's behind her on some missions but I think that's not her end goal. She's an enabler and while the meta supports are always gonna be better at that, I think the thing is that she's fun to use, at least for me.
@@danaltamirano2546 The issue with Lanling is that his buff success only goes up to 40%. Lakshmibai actually fixes his problem by adding another 40% to make make all the buffs proc. With Lanling and Lakshmibai combined you get 100% crit dmg, 100% star gen, and 40% attack. Don't think about using them separately. Use them together. Have them support Saberlot and every Lancer enemy shits their pants.
@@moviedudexd5579 That team is extremely sub-optimal though. First, Lancelot on cooldowns is mediocre at best, and Hokusai is better at everything he does (specially damage). Secondly, Tan-Jeanne have an issue with cooldowns, so unless you are trying to kill on 3 turns or you are using her as Gong-fuel you are going to run into a longer fight than you might want it. Third, Lanling+Hans or mash gives you better results when using an arts dps for less investment and more consistency, plus better stalling (if you need it) and heal + defense.
@@danaltamirano2546 Hokusai's crit caps at 20%. Lancelot's damage caps at 50%. His star absorb is 5 turns cooldown while while Hokusai is 7 turns cooldown. Her star generating is inconsistent since she only has a star bomb while Lancelot has star per turn and a star bomb. Hokusai's only advantage is NP damage. Lancelot shits on her when it comes crit damage.
The FGO meta is simply always who you personally value more. Playing the game with that mindset keeps you sane 90% of the time. The 10% is for the people who's faves are all 5 stars. Apologies and R.I.P....

It is a shame that she can't loop. I wasn't really interested in her at first, but I rolled her and decided to try her out after hearing she was the only AoE quick saber. After an hour, she became one of my favorite servants to use. Maybe even my favorite. I didn't need Arjuna so I continued rolling to try and get Ganesha. She never came to me but I did get NP3 Lakshmi.

I still use the old fashioned method of 3 turn farming, so I’m not really concerned about a Servants looping potential. The problem is despite how much I like her as a character I don’t have any use for her as far as game play goes. I would like to get spooked by her in the future though.
I just wanted Lakshmi Bai for waifu purposes, that alone gives her a spot on my team. Don't see why she can't be a Summer servant as well; she IS a Jeanne face after all.
O yes, the "meta" that defines a good servant, after all, we all burn all our AOE buster servants a year ago and when Castoria release we all going to do the same with the quick ones. Jokes aside, she is a cute Jeanne face and was awesome in lb4
@@lookingforlove839 Orion’s np doesn’t do damage tho and his kit revolves around him doing massive damage with buster cards and he only has 1 arts card so yeah double merlin is still better than double castoria

Just because the new shiny thing is good does not mean the old reliables are now bad. The same thing happened when the Quick meta started. So now that Castoria's out and Arts is ascendent does that mean Skadi and all Quick servants are now trash? I don't think so. Just like I don't think Merlin and all the old Buster gods are now obsolete.

Lakshmibai and LanLing is a fun team if you ask me. 80% buff chance success, 100% crit damage, 100% Star Gen, 40% attack. Pair them with Saber Lancelot and he destroys any lancer in his path.
I don't like quick and have an aoe saber already but I do want her for Jeanne face and she was extremely cool in lb 4 so I'll hope for a spook. She is cute. But yeah she needs an np buff that gives straight np charge back like artoria to fix her problem.
She’s good for card damage and she murders cqs like a champ, she can solo the requiem cq for example, she’s pretty bonkers if you’re trying to do anything but loop
@@ethanallan1254 I don't have yang either so anyone would be a good spook aside dirimud saber I don't like him. Yeah I'll probably get her eventually but not use her much if she doesn't go np 2. If she does I can find good teams without skadi like Wu or Cesar for quick saber buffs.
@@Saya-ng1sl I like to use that joke on lostbelt 3. Those servants have weird ass kits or lacklustre damage. Case in point: consort yu, Qin Liang yu. As much as I like the first emperor, he's not a consistent DPS. You can run him with a team of 2030s. But then you have to rely on good card rng. In case of solo, he lacks a good star generation skill to crit consistently. If he had something like a star bomb, he would have been perfect. Xiang yu is pretty bad. I know he's going to get a buff to his crit skill, but he's still not a good unit. He can't loop with skadi, he can't crit because he's a zerk and even if he gets a crit gather skill, it's only for one turn. I have nothing to say about Lan ling, he best boi and one of my premier arts support. I purposefully left red hare because I haven't used him yet. But he doesn't look good on paper. Bad attack stat( which is kind of a thing with most of these lb 3 servants) and a pierce invulnerability tied to a evade and has rng
Can the devs just make a note not to release a farming event that lasts 5 minutes and is built around Skadi loop meta? Skadi has a lot of good stuff and farming is 90% of the game but you can absolutely play without her. Curry French Toast too has some interesting skills as a 4* quick saber and can do the work associated with one, don't be disheartened she can't replace Lancelot, especially if you already like using Ozymandius.
It’s not really that it’s built around skadi looping nothing in this game is really built around a specific card type it’s just things work out that way
I wanted her as a Saber looper, but then I found out just how much she needs to make that work. I only really need two more Kscopes, but that's still two more Kscopes.
Use Queen's dream when it comes out! Crit damage, + buff chance up, it also has a picture of Lakshmibai! Also, Command code recommendation, Mask of Dragon, it raises buff chance by 20% one time!
A shame that Zerkalot renders her totally irrelevant as a Quick Looper mid to high range, but on the lower end of things she's still a potent support that can work with just about any team. Not the best, but certainly not unplayable or completely outclassed, like a certain 5* Quick Zerker....
I'd say against CQs with multiple enemies and a Lancer primary boss, she essentially functions like Zerkerlot but takes 1/4th the damage he would while having multiple layers of hard survival and stronger crit spam. Always nice to have a bulkier Zerkerlot for CQs where terrible zerker bulk just fails outright.
@@joshuakim5240 Well said, mate! Of course, if you can't quick burn a CQ down it's usually best to turn to a good ol' stall core like Jeanne + Mash to outlast it, but not everyone likes to play THAT long of a game.
I've tried it with the NPC support, and it essentially just allows you more leeway with Hans' NP. Nuking casters and lancers left and right, while essentially being unkillable, is fun but that's about it. Sort of a clunkier kind of buster/quick stalling. Probably great for certain kinds of bosses and CQs, I suppose.
... I loop with her... Nero bride is crucial though. But I was able to loop with her. Lancer and casters only though. She's not as flexible as other loopers.
Able to loop class advantage and caster is good enough IMO. Most of times, you'll farming with class advantage anyway (unless you play dante or zerkerlot that could farm most nodes)
Her flaw is that she doesn't have np gain buff on herself (unlike zerklot). But she can do high damage output if you run her with Hans using Kiara CE (2 level oc)
Lakshmi + Lan Ling comp? Both give team wide buffs, and Lan Ling has a targetable 40% proc chance buff + NP. They're also both sabers so you can double down on lancer nodes.
she may not be so good to loop np, but she has great synergy with hans Np, since her skill guarantees all hans buffs, in which case, makes a excellent secondary dps
Honestly I use her with osakabehime and ozymandias as she and ozymandias both have party wide buff chance increase( if you wanna be cheeky get Hans as a swap target for osakabehime after using her np but before you activate either buff skill)
I would like to point out that arash can clear first wave if he has a Kaleidoscope so rather that needing a super-scope you just need two or if you want to be stingy 1 and a 50% charge quick buff CE for saber
usually the issue is that if you are fielding an AOE saber, you are in a lancer node. Arash has enough damage to clear early waves, but sometimes things are just annoyingly beefy
I dont mind if it's hard or not to loop with her, she can defend herself with her own strengs. Fun after stinky "meta" edited: I mean, she was never meant to be Saber homologo to Berserkelot, she has quite different type of gameplay being much more durable in long combats than Mr. NTR and that thing of making buff scusses rate higher is fucking great, specially with how "easy" you can get her. By the way, may i remind you this is no competitive game and you can do everything with the servants you like, every single servant is special and will work better than others in one thing or another. Play as you like with whatever you like.

@@Press_X_to_doubt So we're gonna ignore Nero's 1 hit NP, a mere 30% bat with a 20% arts amp, a 60% chance of procing her atk steroid, a useless 3rd skill, and generally mediocre np gain? Alright.
And which part makes that bad, exactly? Sure, the damage drops hard compared to STs when facing a single enemy, but that still damage nevertheless. The enemy will die eventually anyway.
