One of the dopest emcees ever and a lyrical technician pioneer after Rakim/G-Rap/Kane in 90-91 with Pharoahe Monch & Treach before the Nas’s, Jay’s, Big’s, Pac’s, Wu’s, Mobb Deep’s Big L’s, Pun’s, Redman’s, Em’s, etc hit later in 92-99.
Man I love this show. Lord Finesse is such a dope producer,MC , dj and still so humble . It worms my heart how good these dudes are I always looked up to. Thank you! R.i.p Combat Jack
Damn Russell Peter’s lives my dream life killing it as a comedian while being a super passionate Hip Hop head who is close with other great legendary emcees!
True Artist of his genre he should be appreciated way more than he is so many gems he can drop on people the whole D.I.T.C. from back in the day is heavily slept on dream team status.
When they talk about making the track 'Come On' and Pete plays a sample...Is that the mix LF did as thought that was the album version and wasn't him. Was it ever released?
Great channel Pete! But Hey this guy Lord Finesse been a problem lyrically since Reagan was president OK? He made up styles that is outta this world. His bars/metaphorical style stands alone even in the golden era lookin back . He couldve rested on his work before '94 but no he has kept on giving the world the true hiphop music as a producer & DJ! Salute Brother!
