I don’t know if you’ll see this, but for the perfect tenderness for a Ghanaian 😂 because we like our meat relatively well cooked, I would recommend medium rare which is 5-7 minutes of cooking on each side. So you put your seasoned meat in the pan for 5-7 minutes, (I set a timer always!) and you flip when the timer beeps. Then before it’s fully cooked, put your veggies in so that the other side doesn’t cook too long after that 7 minutes. The longer it cooks the harder it becomes. Hope this helps!
For steak like that you might want to marinate overnight and probably beat it with a tenderizer hammer so it relaxes before you marinate. the steak was a lean cut so always tough when cooked
Gisela have you heard about loadshedding in South Africa!!! Thats the story of our lives over here we have been having lights issue for the loooongest time but with us they give us a time schedule
As a Ga, I started drinking mashed kenkey made from Ga kenkey before I tried the fante kenkey one in shs (helico) so no it wasn’t the hunger, it is an actual thing 😅
Love your vlogs. Next time try lowering the heat when you’re cooking steak so that it’ll be tender rather than hard. Also use olive oil. Try using a potato masher next time. I’m here for cooking content, well done girl. Love from London ❤❤❤
when you buy the steak you can ask them to tenderize the steak (or you can pound it yourself😂) & the longer you cook the steak, the tougher the meat will be & if you boil the potatoes till it’s soft, you can use a fork to mash it and it’ll be smoothhh hope this helpsss ❤️❤️ xx
