Intro 0:10 | Overview 0:29 | Box Exterior 1:46 | Unboxing 2:22 Hello Rollers! Remember our epic journey in Middle-Earth? Join me as we revisit The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-Earth and unbox the figure pack expansion Villains of Eriador! Villains of Eriador: amzn.to/32CGQoK The Lord of the Rings Journeys in Middle-Earth: amzn.to/2TO27XB
Feels like this should have been in the core box. By the time it came out we already played through all of the main campaign and defeated 2 of the 3 villains in the box. Or at the very least I wish it came with a code for the expansion quests. Oh well, I bought it all anyway since I enjoyed this game so much!
Thanks for watching! These figure packs along with bigger expansions will likely be the norm for this game. The good news is this pack can be used in the original campaign and other digital campaigns already released as well as future ones. Cheers!
I enjoy a handful of the games they make. Good news is that you know what to expect. Although the insert in the Marvel Champions box was a nice surprise and change! :)
S.Spikoski typical business model for these guys. I won't buy anymore of their games because of it. Got tired of only getting half a game that then required tonnes of expansions. I'm glad CMON got the IP for Cyberpunk 2077 the card game and not these guys. At least I'll know there won't be 100's of add on packs or a core set that will be half a game. Thankfully there are plenty of other games from publishers out there far superior to what these guys are putting out now. The Isofarian Guard is a great example, straight out of the box you'll be getting nearly 50hrs of gameplay. Trudvang a similar story.
I think the contents of this "expansion" are pretty light ... I mean, when I played through the Bones of Arnor campaign I didn't mind using a non-specific orc marauder to represent Gulgotar, etc. And 6 new trinkets? *yawn* I don't particularly like getting titles in the core game to begin with, so those don't excite me much either. I'll pass on this, unless I can pick it up dirt cheap (much, much) later.
I can understand your thoughts Joel. It’s considered a figure pack expansion so the cost is much lower than a full box expansion. I assume one of those is likely to come soon! These add variability to the game and replayability too.
@@RollingSolo Let's hope so (full box expansions)! I enjoyed your early-mission Bones of Arnor videos! They convinced me to buy the game - which is now one of my current favorites.
