The music of Lord of the rings along with the acting was so poetic and couldn't have been more beautiful or perfect than how it was composed. I want Peter Jackson to come back so badly and make movies about the silmarilion and hopefully he does because no movies in my life has ever touched me the way his films did. The music made the movies so beautiful almost like you were feeling elven lore all over the place and those moments will always be special.

Yesterday i got my first Erhu, a used Erhu in a really bad shape, in fact the only Erhu I could find in Sri lanka. They say one man's trash is another man's treasure. I'm determined to spend years leaning Erhu if that's what its gonna take, just like how I learned Piano. Even now my finger tips are in so much pain, i realize it's gonna be a long jouney but "This is the way". The entire reason behind this is your music Eliott, thank you for inspiring me! 🖤

i don't know what i was expecting, coming into this. but Journey to the Grey Havens has always been a track to quickly bring me to tears. the addition of the erhu in this arrangement just uplifts it, and ... well, i find myself in tears quickly yet again. excellent, very well done.

My heart and soul gets to float on a cloud in peace for awhile when I listen to your performances. As a trauma survivor, that is a gift you can’t imagine the magnitude of. I’m sure you began learning this instrument for yourself, and maybe hadn’t imagined how many lives you’d bless with it. Thank you for all the hours of hard work and determination with this instrument and never giving up. I’ve attempted two instruments and it’s tough to keep going and takes so much practice. I have so much appreciation for the sound, the culture and momentary peace it brings. I think if ever there was an instrument I could commit to, it would be this one because my ears just melt everytime. I’d appreciate it if you dropped a line here or made a video about tips for beginners and info about difficulty level of learning it. I have really small hands so I struggled with piano and I have arthritis so I struggled with some of the stretches and angles of the guitar along with pressure of my fingertips….this looks like it may be (still difficult), but one of the better options for my hands. I’m interested in your opinion on that since i can’t see it in person without traveling or spending a lot of money.
