for me, it's her armor (the Virgin Pain), I really like how it implements Ciel's immortality uniquely, an armor that makes you invulnerable but kills you later would normally be really lame but since Ciel can revive she can bypass that cleverly (it's also a way better use of her immortality than in the original where that power only served to make her a punching bag and justify how she survived getting completely demolished in fights)

I can't get how people prefer it over the original. Sure there are some awesome parts of the style, like the supreme shading and definitely improvements especially in anatomy, but it just feels like it lacks the character of the original. Everything feels too streamlined and cut down. Like more digestible, but losing a lot of what makes the old art-style unique. When looking at the original designs you can kind of tell what kind of character they are from looking at their faces, but in the remake... everyone has the same face. I don't hate it- per se, but it feels lacking in some ways.

@@ivanbluecool I mean if you think about just like Arcueid and Artoria are giving the same vibes of : powerful, fantastic, blonde foreign rotyalties. Emiya and Ciel give those same vibes of : warrior, all-rounder, hunter. Both goals is to die by killing someone else that use to be them. Has an armada of weapons. Links to the Holy Church. And their jobs as executor / Counter-Guardian are similar in some ways. So i think that if Emiya were to take a look at the Seventh Holy Scripture, he would say "i want that !".

While overall I still prefer Arcueid’s route and character (holding out hope regarding hints in the remake and interviews of Arcueid getting a new ending ala Last Episode) I must admit Ciel got the treatment she deserved in the remake. Special mention for me goes to the music that plays during the final confrontation between Vlov, Ciel and Shiki. I believe it’s called Icefield Waltz and it’s on par with Myth revived and Sword of Promised Victory from Fate Stay Night. Hell the whole OST is glorious.

Nasu going in his recent 4gamer interview like "people might find it strange that Arcueid has only one ending in the remake, but syke I won't elaborate further yet" is very suspicious to say the least. If all these hints are fake a lot of fans (me inlcuded) are going to be pretty mad I guess lol. He must have something in store for Arc in the Far side remake.

Holy shit Ciel actually winning fights and not just killstealing! Seriously, Ciel basically lost all her fights in the original. She does jack shit against Nero, loses to Arcueid twice, barely does shit in the Roa fights beyond being Shiki's cheerleader, her fight with Shiki is cool but it doesn't really have a winner and gets NTR'd in her Good ending(with her cameo in Akiha's route not being a real fight). I'm glad best girl can actually walk the walk.

"Talk" is a short story set after Tsukihime in which Ciel hunts Dead Apostle Ancestor Einnashe. I don't know of an English translation, but The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II series features a forrest called Child of Einnashe. Based on these two facts my theory is in the Tsukihime timeline Ciel killed either Einnashe or the Forest of Einnashe which was created from his blood when he died.

The idea of the armor Ciel uses to stay alive is a cool concept, very Nasu if I do say so myself. It also kinda looks like Mash's For the new characters, I'm indifferent to what Noel has added, but I'm curios when Mario and his goons will do something or what they'll do, Same goes for Mask dude and his twin tailed relative. This one day was pretty good, and since you mentioned the whole route is really dense, that gets me exited for whats to come. Back in the original Ciel's route was the one I liked the least, but maybe the remake will make me take another stance. We wont know till the far side routes are here tho

What's great is that we don't know who inspired who as TsukiR has been in development for such a long time it's likely concepts from it got leaked/foreshadowed in the other works.

Really loving this remake - it's making me enjoy Ciel's route more than Arcueid's. The changes really make it feel like every character, both old and new, is getting the screen time and development they deserve. Can't wait to see what comes next.

It is fair that characters receive appropriate to content amount of attention in your analysis instead of artificial shortening or inflating so everybody receive equal amount of episodes. Idea Blood confuse me. It is supposed to be DAA specific thing but while they number is constant those things can be taken away by others. Where they come from and do more can be created?

I hope you one day do a nasuverse misconceptions video as I can name a wall of things people get wrong about basic stuff from knk all the way to fgo as simple things get warped by uneducated people who don't know how to wiki search or look themselves. What I should have put in there was that Noel should have abandoned her damn disguise and rescue the victims. Reducing casualties in civilians, having a BETTER report for that SPOILED SNOT NOSED BRAT MARIO.👨‍💻 THAT WAY HED PROBABLY STOP PICKING ON HER MAN!!! 😡 To be honest I'm ANGRY to see the way Mario treats NOEL. Surely the remake added epic moments to Tsukihime compared to the original, and one of the changes that I absolutely like is the removal of the tattoos Ciel had in the OG VN, I wasn't really fan tbh, and all the changes so far are welcoming.

The police would have arrested noel and ciel for flirting with a child like shiki. Ciel keeps looking like mashu the more I see her and I don't know if I should like it seriously Seeing her thighs in the vn. Jokes aside the animation makes shiki look exactly like Shirou in the shadows. Arc makes me laugh as in ciels route she always indirectly says to choose her route instead. I don't know why it's funny to me nasu keeps doing this. The people die when they are killed is honestly standard in much of anime. It's just easy to remember Shirou as he says it the most. Vllyd is cooler here having more back and forth with the combat on shiki and ciel as I don't like overpowered fights one way or another much as we have more pieces moving on the board but arc just feels unneeded just pouting when shiki would leave and such. Still wish we could have had multiple enemies as Nero chaos is someone I want to see. Hopefully nasu did his story for satchin or something. While I like arcs story more. The updates to ciels are cool to see as nasu really did her dirty overall and shiki here is better even if I don't like him being a monster and beast.
