All Signs in trespasser secret ending point ti tevinter, but Can we really sugegst the Devs are not above giving misleading Hints? Still, I Reckon A Vint Protag Is A Longtime coming, and Though I Detest Mage class over the easier close range rogue or warrior, A Non-Magic Vint from a proud bloodline would make for an interesting plot don't you think?
Not as much a threat as they used to be, but they would certainly be a powerful enemy to have, given that they managed to hold off the Qunari until now. Back in the days they had the advantage of being the only real military power. By now, Orlais for example has a substantial military, most notably the chevaliers. Then again, the Qunari also didn't launch a full scale invasion yet, where they throw literally everything they have at Thedas.
They probably could retake the Free Marches and Ferelden (good luck keeping them being so far away from the Imperium heartland). They could take Antiva and Rivain with heavy fighting against the Qunari on the latter. Par Vollen I doubt it without any allies. Seheron possibly retaking it in time. Anderfels I see them allied with peacefully if they could make certain deals with various players. Orlais nope or with heavy loses. Nevarra similar to Orlais.
it's like the URSS and Russia, in the past were really powerful and nobody could stand a chance against them, now they are a shadow of that but still have enough power to keep their enemies away
I'm of the other camp on this one. I never want to step into Rivain, Antiva or Tevinter, I'm afraid it would be a letdown. I liked Orlais but it just wasn't massive enough for me. I wanted more areas to free roam
I wish they would have opened Val Royeaux more, and we could have visited it as a hugeeee city, and maybe see the effects of the Game. See elves being helped by Briala, tensions rising in the streets when you chose to put her in place or having Gaspard, Celene and Briala ruling. See people so devout they throw themselves at you in the streets like you were a living god. Some would despise you so much that they would spit on the ground or things like that.
Inquisition was cut down alot because of hardware limitations, the original plans were huge but the 360 and PS3 couldn't keep up with it. I believe one of the head dudes at BioWare wanted it to be consistent between all 5 platforms Edit: also the budget played a big part.
Here is something I don't get. They're the Roman Empire of this world yet EVERYONE hates them. There appears to be no gratitude to Tevinter. I would really like to see them explored in Dragon Age 4 with the player being a Tevinter - like for example if a Mage rising to become a Magister.
.....their lust for power and worship of the old gods resulted in the blight and they killed the bride of the maker, Andraste. On top of that they are all mage elite assholes. 🤨 Fuck em, with that being said i want to see Tevinter in DA4 🤔
@@marcofelix5694 Not really, there's definitely something more going on. The fact is that magisters entered the Fade and became corrupted. I don't dispute that thing. Architect and Corypheus are satisfactory proofs. The Chantry says it's a punishment from the Maker and I simply object to that statement. There's definitely more to it and Trespasser imo shows that.
I'm playing a Soporarti in the Tabletop RPG. I just hope that, in the next game, Tevinter won't the simple black evil empire. Something more grey with its marvel and despicable stuff would make Tevinter even more interesting :3
I usually get the information I need from Codex Entries within the Games, or from The World of Thedas Books. For this particular video it was mostly from the Codex Entries about anything related to the Imperium, from all three games, including but not limited to: The Tevinter Imperium, Origins Archons of the Imperium, Origins The Imperial Chantry, Origins The Magisterium, Inquisition Tevinter Society, Inquisition Blade of Mercy, DA2 Slaves in the Imperium, DA2 The World of Thedas, Vol. 1, pp. 7, 72-79 The World of Thedas, Vol. 2, pp. 36-38, 203, 260 Listing every source I took information from would be a rather long list, which I will spare you with. My newer videos however, have the information and source directly in the video itself, so people may check that I'm not talking out of my arse. :D
I mean, they tried live action with the series that shall not be named, starring Felicia "Let Me Ruin Your Favourite Franchise In Live Action" Day. But then again, that wasn't made by BioWare themselves. As for anime, it'd need the proper artstyle, but I think that would work better. More creative freedom.
@@ducky36F never work to become anime or live action? Is it always bad? Even though I still hope that they would make the live actions or anime, I think I dont want to raise my hope. But how about they make a single movie and people could watch it at cinema? Would it be good?
I’m not sure that actually going to Tevinter is a good idea. One of the best things about it is that it is mysterious, foreign, altogether different. This is something other nations lack. Par Vollen and the Qunari are not mysterious in that we understand their motivations and their history in Thedas is fairly recent. The other human nations are similarly understood, and their cultural differences are similarly well-known. Only Tevinter is so mysterious and has an entire history that affects the player, never the focus but always in the background. It is the main backdrop for the world. It should be the place where everything is tied together. Does the Maker exist? Tevinter. Where did the Qunari come from and why? Tevinter. What exactly happened to Andraste, Havard, etc? Tevinter. What is the Black City? Tevinter. What exactly happened to Arlathan? Tevinter. Who are the Executors? Tevinter. What exactly is far to the west, north, and east? Tevinter. Where did humans come from, why can they have viable offspring with Elves? Tevinter. Tevinter should be the capstone for the series, the explanation for the questions we have. It has to be more than a surface level experience. I could write 3 games just in Tevinter alone.
Not happening lol. Crush am entire nation because of past stories? Elves had slaves in the ancient city and were wicked as well but i dont see ppl hating all elves.
@@genisveil the tevinter still have slaves and act like pompous douches. Yes I want to crush the meatbags 😁😈 But I also believe that you’re absolutely correct. We’re not going to crush tevinter like the bugs they are. We’ll most likely reform them, which is also a good thing.
@@genisveil ohhhhhh and also, yes the ancient elves had slaves too and acted just like the vints. I have no desire to go back to that either, which is why I’ll oppose solas and his plans. Ima try to redeem him. Though I’m also tempted to stomp him with a golem as that’s what meatbags deserve *evil evil laughter*
New subscriber here, I am really enjoying your videos as I anxiously await any shred of DA4 news. I had also somehow never heard the Tavern song at the end of this video- wonder why it wasn't on the Tavern Songs album? Anyway thanks for the entertaining and informative videos :)
