I know you may be self conscious of it, but I think you did a great job retelling this story and I absolutely adore these videos. Take your time with the next one, you're doing a good job. I'm just happy I can share the amazingness that is the PGR story without forcing someone to either play it, or listen to me narrate entire 6 hour long chapters.

I'm sorry I must have missed something important but could someone please explain to me what exactly happened to Lucía? Because I don't understand how "Plume" is a different person if she has all the memories and personality of the original Lucia.
Certainly, Plume has the memories of both Alpha and Lucia, but not their personalities. Your personality is shaped by experiences you go through in your life, but Plume has no experiences. Shes essentially a blank slate who can only "read" the memories the same way we read PGRs story. You know all of Gray Ravens journey, but you never "experienced" it yourself you read about them as the actions of another person. Hope this made sense.
Yes, it makes sense when you put it like that. But in practice I would swear that this "Lucia" is the same or even more "Lucia" than she had ever been. Maybe it's just my perception but her responses, her manners, her seriousness , her daydreaming habit, her terrible cooking skills, and her love for the protagonist are still there. She was practically just born and yet her personality seems too similar to me. I still think it's weird, or that it's poorly treated in the story, but thank you very much for explaining it anyway. ❤

There is also the concept of divergent growth. It basically goes like "If you were duplicated at the same moment in time, and made to go through the same experiences in life alongside your other self, are you still the original person? or have you grown into your own self?" it's a similar concept -SOMA in a nutshell- The lucia that we didn't get to see before the start of the story (now called alpha), The lucia at the start of the story (pre ch12), The lucia we stay with (post-ch12), The lucias who have been used as combat trainers or duplicated for experimentation by certain factions... are they all Lucia? or are they just one of the Lucias, and the real original Lucia is already dead? Is Alpha the real original Lucia? the M.I.N.D. space is a backup that is maintained by the Gestalt, but it can be reversed to a previous state or even modified irreversibly (ch22 implications). Is the Lucia that exists, freshly imbued with the databank of the last supposed lucia backup, really actually the last backuo or the really not-modified? What about being in a new body? Is being in a new body going to affect how to handle current situations? Would that change your character's decisions in the moment, thus possibly leading you down a different path than you would have normally gone through in your life? It's basically like observing a movie about your own life, after having diagnosed to be an amnesiac. Sure you have your characteristic mannerisms and muscle memory or just idle habits, but these aren't happening in your own control. You are not ale to recollect as to the reason why you have these tendencies or what you were feeling in the moment in these situations that you had undergone in your memories. Remember, this is a backup of your Mind in a virtual databank. A virtual space that accommodates and allows for emotional expression like a human, but it doesn't exactly 'saves' your emotional mind or your 'soul' to speak of. It's like recalling that you had a specific pet cat that you fawned over, before you had lost your memories, and although you can now attempt to piece together all that back, you still wont be able to regain the understanding of what exactly made you care so much for this cat in particular.
