The Lost Boys (1987) Movie Review [SPOILERS] 

"Death by stereo!" Always been a tie between this and Fright Night as my favourite 80's vampire movie, but Lost Boys does have saxophone man, so maybe it's a tiny bit better.

Awesome review!! That twist with Max also got me! The film really pushed us away from him with another scene. The one where Max gets home at night and than the vampires just taunt and torment him with their bikes. I thought it was so strange that they would do that. I thought Max was gonna eat shit right then and there. I need answers to that moment, it just sticks out to me so much! He's the head vampire and they are "his boys", why would they do that? 🤔 Also, I love the scenes with them flying through the air and you just get the POV, and how the first couple of kills are just people getting snatched up without the vampires being shown. The frog brothers were ridiculously awesome! They were arrogant, obnoxious, clumsy, and I loved it lol! The 2 kills you mentioned were great, but I gotta go with "Death by stereo" :) FYI - I didn't get a chance to watch your "They Live" review. That's one I haven't seen yet, so didn't want to run into spoilers.

Good analysis! Lost Boys is a classic for a reason 😉 RIP to Corey Haim (if you want to have your heart broken - look into what Hollywood did to him 😭) Dianne Wiest is the quintessential 80s mom and though she doesn't have a ton to do, she's still so sweet with the boys and her little "Dad...?" line while Grandpa goes for his root beer (with double stuf Oreos likely to follow 😉) is so funny. A prequel about her as a teen with gramps fending off vampires while keeping her oblivious would've been great, but all we ever got were terrible sequels with Feldman 😖

Love The Lost Boys. Since it’s October you should maybe do a watch/review of Halloween 1978.

Yeah I've always thought that even though David wasn't the head vampire he still a older vampire than Michael and he's a full vampire unlike Michael who's only a half vampire so the power gap should have been smaller but my guess is David was holding back his full strength and didn't wanna kill Micheal which he even said he didn't wanna kill Michael but even still you would think he would have beat the ever living crap out of Michael more than he actually did Lol.
