Cry Little Sister, by Gerard McMahon, was a song I really enjoyed from The Lost Boys soundtrack. The Lost Boys is a 1987 American horror comedy film directed by Joel Schumacher, starring Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman, Dianne Wiest, Edward Herrmann, Alex Winter, Jamison Newlander, and Barnard Hughes. The film is about two brothers who move to California and end up fighting a gang of young vampires.
I've always wanted to see what I could do with the song, so I hope that you enjoy my rendition. My good friend, Darren Sand, was kind enough to ask his 2 daughters, Audrey & Katherine, if they would sing the iconic, "Cry little sister", and "Thou shall not…." lines....in which they did a fantastic job with. Thanks also to my wife, Ann Marie, for vocal coaching the girls.

Every time I hear this song I keep imagining Christopher Lee's Dracula and Peter Cushing's Van Helsing, I feel like this cover just goes well with these two.❤🖤🧛🪦🦇

I’m pleasantly surprised this is really good. Especially the parts where the little girls sing the hook ( it breaks my heart ).

Its different, thats for sure. Do like it. Ok heres the thing. if the cw is still going to do the lostboys tv series, i wish they would hurry up and make it happen all ready. Like for real, so many people are waiting for it. Its been in the works for years now + the cw is saying its coming out but when.

Skilfully executed, and the slower tempo is pleasant enough and COULD allow for some really punchy production but in the end hollow without the lead vocal and a synth cello is no substitute for a raucous male voice. 6/10

Yeah, I really love the vocals on the original track. I really did want a vocalist, but at the time could not find anyone satisfactory, so I went with the mostly instrumental track you heard. I do love the little girls vocals that I recorded,d though, but if If I could start all over I would just wait until I found a great vocalist for the verses. That with the girls voices would have been killer! Thanks for listening. :)
