I remember Omega Boost. It still holds a special place in my games wall. That soundtrack was so fantastic... The last boss music actually got me into Static-X. I was so disappointed when no sequel or spiritual sequel ever came out. This game needs a modern version, or a rebirth, or at least the combat engine to be used again.
There actually is a spiritual successor to Omega Boost. It was a game released during the PS3/X360's life cycle. Reply to this message so once I find the name, I can send you it.
@@Kalebfenoir I found it! It's called Project Nimbus. I remember reading an article on it's preview where the developers stated Omega Boost as an inspiration. Then I found Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner, Wartech Fighters and the Armored Core series. Hope those will scratch that itch.
@@Renegaiden_ Ah nice! I actually have that one on my Wishlist! If it's actually a Omega Boost spiritual successor, that increases my interest. I was already intrigued by it. Oh I'm an oldschool Armored Core player. LOL. I still have nightmares about one mission from AC2: AA. One where you have to dash across the tops of mesas while being chased by High Explosive (nuke) drones, and boost-dash across canyons aiming for itty-bitty tunnels...and at the very end you have to fight an AC. If you beat the mission, you get the lightest, FASTEST biped legs in the game I think. Which...would have helped in that mission, honestly. I'll look more into Project Nimbus! Thanks!
I had no knowledge of this game before and now i want it desperately especially that soundtrack, thank you. Keep up the good work, have a nice day and don't falter.
All your content has so much heart put into it, so you reaching out to recommend such a sick looking game must mean its just that good. I'll definitely try to emulate it and give the game a shot
