The Lost Disney Rides They Want You To FORGET About... 

I remember going on snow whites scary adventure as a kid. On that ride there was a part where the witch almost dropped a huge boulder on the visitors. I literally thought I was gonna die!

TW: the hanging body should stay, if you know its there and it triggers you, just dont go in. i feel like horror rides should give you a feeling of fear, maybe even greif. it adds flavor:)

i feel like some parents are irresponsible for letting their little kids go on terrifying rides, like it’s a child and of course it’ll be traumatized after going on a scary ride

If you knew the story behind the Hanging person in the Haunted mansion, you'd know that there's a reason. He is the person who's talking to you in the lift and then you discover that he is dead in that exact moment. It was created that way to scare the people who was entering the ride. They created a story for all their rides

This reminds me of the fact that the cheerleading team at my school is going to DisneyLand and I’m not in the cheerleading team 🏃🏻‍♀️🤠

I remember one time when I went on the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland and experienced a real ghost (At least thats what my family and one of the ride operators there believed) 😂 It was a normal ride like any other on this trip with my family. We rode the ride as is, except when we came to the Graveyard scene RIGHT at the end of the ride, it got colder and I heard what I could only assume was a little boy yell “LOOK OUT!” Like RIGHT in my ear, but it was almost like an echo in my head, but it was louder than any thought i’ve ever had, and I didn’t even think of it). I asked my brother (who was sitting next to me) if he had heard it as well and he said he didn’t hear anything, especially since we had been on this ride hundreds of times and knew it and every sound by heart. Instead of getting off in the “catacombs” exit area where you normally get off, we stayed on the ride (as my brother was in a wheelchair at the time) and the ride vehicle (also known as the Doom Buggy) takes you down a completely black tunnel with only a black curtain blending into the wall to the left, which covered the security screens (which we could also see peeking through, and heard people talking) and leads back down the staircase to the loading dock where you get on the ride. The ride stopped and we were let off the ride so my brother could get off and into his wheelchair (this is why the ride stops sometimes when you’re on it. Usually theres someone who needs assistance on and off), as we made our way down the portrait hallway (behind the ropes and close to the windows by the way) to the Stretching Room elevator. We needed to go UP the stretching room to get back to ground level. We got to see everything in reverse (fun fact the audio plays backwards and you can hear all the creaking of the walls as it settles back and opens up for the next crowd.) While we were riding the elevator back up, I asked the Cast Member if they added any new audio to the Graveyard scene where I had heard the little boy, and they said “No, not as long as i’ve worked there”. When I had told them what exactly I heard, they said “Oh, you’re one of those lucky ones who actually have heard a ghost on this ride! We’ve only had a few others come to tell us some strange things they’ve heard or seen. I truly think this place is haunted considering how many ashes have been flung around here… and i’m not even trying to keep up the illusion.” They said they had a roommate who had experienced a little boy spirit (or so they said) when they did their nightly walk around the ride, and that multiple others have mentioned a boy as well. After that, the stretching room opened, and we were let off to go roam the park again. I know there are probably many other things it could have been, an actual child screaming, or my mind playing tricks, but that echo in my head is something i’ll never forget. The feeling of something speaking in my head that I didn’t even think of? That’s creepy. What’s creepier? We were on this ride during Fantasmic, when the ride was literally empty, and we had at least 6 Doom Buggies in front and behind us that were uninhabited.

I absolutely LOVED Mission Space when I went on it. It’s fun and I specifically remember having to do a little task and my cheeks feeling like they were pulled back. If you aren’t to scared to go on then I’d definitely recommend it.

I've had one of those candles before. For my birthday several years back. It opens into a flower. Really fun. Interesting to see the rides that Disney decided to remove and change.

Honestly, if you're going on a ride called the HAUNTED Mansion...well then you should expect to see some "disturbing" things. Yes, even if it's at Disneyland. I don't think it should be taken out and people shouldn't be so sensitive (especially since people have the option to walk out). People may disagree with me, but that's my opinion

I found this video on my recommended two minutes after it posted (I’m commenting after watching it) JESSI VEE YOU QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN (Some of my opinions on the rides) Haunted Mansion: I’ve gone on this ride countless times and I didn’t even know the person was h4ng!ng (censored it in case anybody is sensitive or uncomfortable by it) until recently. I think there’s actually some sort of lore that corresponds with it but I’d have to fact check that. Overall, I personally think it should stay. Country Bear Jamboree: I didn’t even know this had any disturbing lyrics but it doesn’t make a difference to me if they stayed or not. Snow White’s Scary Adventures: I never went on this ride so idk. Superstar Limos: I have no words for this ride despite the fact I never went on it. Both concepts don’t make any sense to me and the part about Princess Diana’s death makes its original concept even worse. I’m personally glad it’s gone. Mission: Space: Okay, now hear me out, the 4-year-old’s death is on the parents. I assume there were warnings and signs everywhere saying that the ride could be intense for some people so why those parents decided to bring their 4-year-old on the ride, I have no clue. They sued Disney for negligence when it seems the parents were the negligent ones. On an unrelated note, from how intense I’ve heard the ride to be, I would never go on. I won’t judge you if you like it but it kinda scares me. Skyway: Similar to Snow White, I don’t really know. These are just my opinions on everything and I just ask for no fighting in the replies under this if anybody replies 😅

That poor man..😕. It's just so tragic that this happened because his children or his closest friends or family members had to hear about this. Truly heart breaking.

In six flags on fright fest they do a graveyard showcasing of old rides that use to be there I remember when I was younger you know those old fashioned racecars that looked like the speedster back in the early 2000s we use to ride around the track. Now we use those new ones with the really loud motors.😊 Thoses speedsters are in the graveyard, I miss those.☺️

I think it should stay. It is a horror ride. We cannot make everything friendly all the time. I do think they need to have a warning and let people know they can skip that section. I can understand it upsetting people, but horror often does that.

I think a part 2 would be great. when I heard of all these deaths I felt petrified.

We went on the Snow White ride, and it was pretty scary. The other one that my kids seemed terrified of was Mr. Toads Wild Ride.

When I was a kid and I went in the into the elevator in the Haunted Mansion for the first time I cried. I was pretty much scared of the ride at this point but after I watched a ride through video on RU-vid I wasn't scared anymore. I was just very scared of the elevator part of getting to the ride. I can't go to Disneyland that often. I don't need to be sad I'll get to go on this ride but I don't know when. ;)

Part of the reason the skyway closed was actually because of people my mom used to be friends with in high school. Basically the entire drum section at west orange high school loved to bring or buy raisins, get on the ride, and suck on them until the were sticky and pelt the people walking below them with the sticking raisins. Mom said they were actually proud when the ride closed. (Of course there were other reasons, but I’m sure they contributed. Also they probably weren’t the only ones doing that.)

People are so overly sensitive, if it offends you then don’t go. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Disney has actually released a much easier going and less jolting version of mission space it’s said to be much less intense And is supposed to be for guests who can’t handle mission space but still want to ride it

The Corpse in the begging of the hunted mansion ride is actually related to the Hunted Mansion Movie which came out in 2003 the guy Hangs himself after his true love dies and not being able to live with himself he kills him self and curses the Staff, Spirts in the graveyard and himself to wander the earth for all eternity…So in my opinion the should keep it in

1:18 I remember having this candles on my birthday every year! But the most annoying part was that it would never shut up! Whenever you light up the candle and the song would start it would never shut up! So we had to break it lol

I remember going on Mission Space as a kid in 2013. I personally enjoyed the ride and didn't feel harmed at all and Disney workers made sure I felt special as the youngest kid, but I do remember them triple checking i was strapped in tight.
