The heroine is an intelligent and caring character. Both the heroine and daughter seem, from the trailer, ready for something different. Teaching is wonderful. If it is a profession or you are thrown into it, teaching is very rewarding. I am sure this movie shows teaching and learning going in both directions. Spelling corrected!
These are the kind of movies that I can watch with my two daughters and not feel embarrassed about. Plus Sharon Lawrence is always just so great in everything she does!
This reminds me of sweet home Alabama. I know a lot of ppl are complaining, but seriously we haven't had this type of mocie in forever and its nice to finally have a nice romantic film again when it seems like nowadays its just action superhero movies
@@wilmasariman3443 And still it isn't at all like Sweet Home Alabama. In Sweet Home Alabama (like in many other movies at that time) we see a successful woman having a relationship with a less successful man. Here, like with other movies today, it is the opposite : a single country man having a relationship with a less successful woman and kids.
Leslie Bibb was amazing. She really melted into her character who was grieving. The scene where she takes the truck with a list, and she endures the nosy questions of the cashier, and she comes out furious, and breaks down in the truck. Right on Leslie, her hands were shaking, and she cried hard. Most movies, the actresses have this fake looking cry to still look pretty. That’s not real life, when you grieve life is ugly, it’s heartbreaking, and she made that scene hurt. Wow. Sorry, but she is the only one that killed it in this movie. Standing ovation for Leslie Bibb! A+++++.Nora Dunn was in one of my favorite movies, Working Girl, and her characters are always so funny, and so great! She is wonderful actress. Duhamel needs a breakthrough role, he is also a great actor, he should have been Aquaman, or the next Batman, or something better than those silly movies, something more amazing. 😄. Great cast! The kids were great actors. Sharon Lawrence is another supperv actor. Wow. Who doesn’t love her? Just an over all great cast. A++.
I’m watching it now. I lost my husband, my car, my home 2 years ago and am living back home with my parents.. I wish I had an aunt with a goat farm. I’d go in a heartbeat
When I saw Josh Duhamel I got so excited with the movie then I've decided to read the book! I've read it yesterday and finished the whole book! It was utterly a waste of time.. the book was so plain. it didn't give me any emotions or chills. But I'm still going to watch this movie because of Josh Duhamel.. hope the movie would do justice..
So is all hero movies, James Bond, romance, comedy, action, just about everything except mystery. Ur just another trailer nazi wannabe that follows whereever the majority leads u. Sad, shallow, short sighted n stupid
I have watched this movie more than 4 times already, I love it soo much! Yes Josh is so "Josh" in this, and I was never really drawn to Leslie since I saw her in Popular, but she was perfect in this movie, I can't imagine anyone else playing Libby. I absolutely love her in this, I now realize how talented and beautiful and amazing she is!!! I'm sorry Leslie Bibb for not loving you sooner, you are pretty amazing!!!!! I wish I grew up on a goat farm, but I probably wouldn't appreciate it as much.
I just watched this the other day. I really enjoyed it...and not just because Josh Duhamel is a dream! Talk about aging like a fine wine! The story was sweet too.
Wonderful, comforting, beautiful movie. The Texas farm setting was stunning, the actors did their parts proud, and the stor plot was easy to listen to, and the kind of thing that presses everyone's "empathy" button. Probably gonna watch it multiple times. Like The Happiness for the Beginers from the same director, I like it a lot. I know a lot of people that have a quite similar life: sudden or slow loss of partner, life completely torn apart, emotional distruction...loneliness. Ok...in real life all stories does not have happy end. That's why whe have movies. P.S. First three lines of this tex I stole from somewhere.
This is a damsel in distress and heroic knight movie. Also a teacher and bad student turned into top student plot. Both story lines/plots are good. This one looks well made.
I liked really the movie...sometimes life surprises you in ways you never expect and we need so little / but so enough/ to be happy...and they do have their chemistry, just not so shiny like in the most movies...you have to look deeper...
This book was such a good read! I meet the author, Katherine Center, at a book festival in Savannah. Can’t wait to watch the movie and see her book on the screen. 😊
Oww. I was hurt. "Rooster can't tell time". Sorry Josh but in the Philippines especially for the farmers in the province when the rooster's crowning it means it will be dawn anytime soon. And we need to hurry 😁😀😅
