It always makes me happy to see ACTUAL FE2 content and not just gameplays. Edit: You forgot the custom camera movement feature, which was showcased during the first sneak peeks of Beneath the ruins. It basically set the camera on a specific angle for a whole room.
I just realized that Crazy Blox is so good at his own game he does not even use shiftlock :suprised: and the fact that sky diving was removed makes me so sad, that would have been my favorite feature.
Nice to see someone make a video to compile all of this old media. I recently looked up the old version cave system and never realized it has a dynamic camera section that got scrapped. It's interesting to see just how many iterations the game has gone through over the years. Great video!
well… i’m privileged to say that i’ve played autumn hideaway and it was an amazing map at the time and i miss it lots, but what the creator did is awful and they deserved their map removed.
No Swim is kinda unique and cool if you're on high detail Damn, custom flood colors gamepass reminds me of the Fe1 version and yeah it would've been dope I miss pro lock but they should've made it more expensive on gems instead or something
These lost media stuff is honestly very interesting to know specially the "Color Theme" or whatever you call it and The "Sky Diving". I have been very interested on those "Lost Maps" specially the ones that haven't gotten to public, also the maps "Humble Jungle,Purple Sector, Autumn Hideaway, No-Light" that was discontinued/removed. Lost Features is the one that gives me the nostalgia even the Legacy Lightning, Lock to Insane , Red Un-actived Button , Event Badges. The most nostalgia feeling is the OLD VERSIONS OF THE MAPS. I remember the lava pit on the gloomy manor on the last stage is something that made me confused in the past if it was bugged or it is supposed to be like that. For the Lost OST's i think that the OLD LOBBY OST is one of my favorites every time i hear it it gets me relaxed and gives energy, but now once i hear the old lobby ost, damn... The Memories Are Gold.
Actually the ability to press inactive buttons was never removed, instead the maps that had it were updated to no longer have it. It happened when someone made a map but didn't put the script in on the button that prevents it from getting pressed until the previous button gets pressed. This is why it only applied to 2 maps (sky sanctuary and 1 other map I forgot.) They would let you press inactive buttons early but all other maps had the proper scripts on the buttons. This is why you can only find videos on it with sky sanctuary or map test/community maps
Seeing that of all maps no light never made it in the offical game is sad to see it being shelved but i can see why, gameplay wise it looks basic like very… but it was at its eariler stages which i can understand but the amount of content there is within the map makes me want to play it or see what more was planned. ive played this game since 2018 and man i really hope crazy actually changes his mind and produces more maps or hell even revive no light
During the lost maps of FE2, No Light was basically recreated by people who knows about No Light. (including Chris Semler) List of people who recreated No Light: Enszo (who made UnderSci) Cam0Dev I don’t know more of them yet but i will put them when you got one.
Fun fact: purple sector,autumn hideaway and no light, I have actually played them in fe2 fangames or fe2cm those maps actually have pretty good gameplay Don’t ask me how I found them I don’t remember wich fangame it was :( But other then that I wish humble jungle and others were added I mean humble jungle looked pretty good! Old maps: I have played old dark sci forest. But who else right now is feeling nostalgic?

I love autumn hideaway sm i was so sad when they removed it :(( Plus when I first heard the ost for fall equinox I got so many nostalgic memories i was so sad D:
might be false memory, but i remember the third badge being used as an placeholder in either 2019 when no light was announced or 2021 when the metaverse event was in its works

I feel deja by seeing “new thing” I kinda remember when I was younger seeing it, it was a straight line If not I don’t know where I’m getting this feeling from I also played the old version of cave system the lighting was soooo bad(at least for me)
@@FANE_PROD no it’s a total different feature. The original skydive you wouldn’t be able to move and glide down very slowly. The new skydive you can move and fall faster than normal.
this maybe be a bit late but.. there was also a freature (its exists on chaos server but its removed of normal) which is all buttons are replaced with group buttons, its currently changed to the random group buttons because problaby it was annoying, but still a "lost" feature since it was on all servers. sorry if my english is bad.
@@ChrisSemler Bro i knew there was a fallen but i had feeling it look different cause i havent played flood escape in a while and i got confused with the hard and insane but in my opinion i think i like insane fallen more because i knew that one longer hope that made sense
dam i miss insane lock i stooped playing fe2 after the difficult update because its close impossible to find a insane server at time i miss the old times of this game
