I do hope you guys do a few more episodes for Goat Format, there's still so many other decks to take a look at, and heck, maybe even coming back to it if you guys get bored of going through the sets, you could jump back to a hypothetical Episode 23.5. Either way, this episode was great and I'm looking forward to Cybernetic Revolution, Cyber Dragon is a heck of a nostalgia card.

@@dragsvart The solution is even easier. Don't be selfish yugiboomers! There are plentely of people who don't want to watch nothing but goat duels! I know it's difficult for goat players to understand but let me spell it out for you anyway. This is the "History of Yu-Gi-Oh Series" not the History of Goat Format! If you want to continue living in April 2005 go watch an actual goat channel, there are plentely of channels for that but spare us your selfishness. Good thing neither Cimo nor MBT are yugiboomers so I know I don't have to worry about that.

@@pandaman1331 I agree with this, though as a History series, I do want to see more than just two decks per format, since Goat isn't the only era with this many decks, at least I think, I'm sure there's a few other eras with 6-8 decks that could be interesting to see as well.

And this is 1 reason why I love Yugioh ... because of these crazy ways that people can make decks work. (Unlike the resource systems of MTG and Pokemon TCG as well as the class system in Hearthstone.) These are all Great Card games but they can feel a bit restrictive when it comes to deck building.

Everyone is playing a unique set of cards they came up with that, as was the case in goat format, will invariably be different from what anyone else comes up with. Mixing and matching engines/archetypes is still inherently less creative because all you’re doing there is taking large prepackaged chunks of cards and mashing them together.

As someone who played back in the days of GOAT I have greatly enjoyed these vids and I would so love to see you guys stick around atleast for a little bit! I say keep going chronologically, then have maybe a couple side episodes or a mini series where you play goat format, as history of ygo is supposed to be about how ygo's formats have progressed throughout history, so purposefully staying to an older format as you continue to go on feels a bit weird.

I would love an extra episode of GOAT. Take time on the formats with multiple playable decks. Skip formats where nothing changes. I'm looking for an informative and entertaining look on the past of Yu-Gi-Oh that I wasn't there for. Don't let a formula get in the way of what you or the viewers want to do. Maybe do a few episodes without the wheel as well and just play decks that deserve a spotlight. Edison Format in particular is interesting and something I would love to see a double feature on.

Yeah and they've already done a few episodes where they repeated the same set with slightly different banlists so the series already kind of set a precedent for taking its time to go through the history. It's The History of Yugioh. All of the other formats aren't going anywhere and they will get to them. Also I think they should do a History of Jank side series where they go through each format and try to play the most degenerate decks possible and just make that the entire point lmao.

please do a few more episodes on goat. there's still a lot of history to go, but this is the history of yugioh, and goat is arguably the biggest piece of yugioh history, so id say it deserves atleast 5 episodes.

I'd love to see more GOAT. The Cards in this format are basically what triggers my nostalgia and since I never played YGO even close to competitive, or what would resemble a proper deck, seeing how the cards I loved were used on a higher level is super interesting to me.
