We witness the discovery of an extremely rare 1826 Viennese Nanette Streicher fortepiano. We follow restorer/collector Edwin Beunk en route with his instruments for concerts and recordings. Contributions by: Alexander Melnikov, Kristian Bezuidenhout, Andreas Staier, Robert Levin, Ronald Brautigam, Frans Brüggen, Riko Fukuda, Yulianna Avdeeva.
We also hear the Orchestra of the 18th. Century, the Freiburger Barockorchester, Amsterdam Sinfonietta and the Rembrandt Frerichs Trio.
