Ya but would you want gold for the 260.00 you paid or more ? even if it was say 20k gold I'd bet most wouldn't most take it .. I do understand the problems.. I got the BZ back in 2021? didn't even play my 1st game in it till a year had past.. even now i think I've played under 50 games with it in 2-3 years.. and on the NA server I hardly ever see it *shrug* I understand your point.. was just trying to explain WG F-Up But they wont do anything to loose money (no company would) And they tried to fix a premium in the Past and it didn't work out well for them.. I'm sure they will continue to make more and more powerful tanks.. if they didn't make bigger/better/faster tanks people would get board soon enough.. Just like real life everything gets that way like cars/tanks/jets/ on and on.. all the people with money will keep buying it and the FTP and weekend warriors will move on. who they want to keep is pretty easy to figure it out :) Still catching up on your videos been down awhile (injury) Thanks 4 the Reply !!

@@kizzzit5724 Every vehicle has its value in gold, tier 8 heavies are usually around the 10-12k gold mark. You could always keep the BZ-176 and like I said maybe give some sort of small compensation to owners of the BZ-176 such as 1-2k gold. I don't think WG are going to do anything about it either, but I will always keep hoping that they'll try to balance every aspect of the game even if it means it will lose them some money at first even though personally I think that if they balance the game more people will be playing it and new players will have a better time adjusting at higher tiers and therefore they will continue playing instead of leaving once they meet too many OP vehicles and then if you have more players you naturally will have more paying players. Like I said, people will always complain no matter what you do, so make the best thing you can which in my opinion is a balanced game. Hope you feel better soon and thanks for the comments!

1: I always try to think of new players that will try to join the game but won't be able to due to the current state of it. It might be true that a lot of people already have a lot of tech tree vehicles, but that's a big problem. That means there aren't enough new players. 2: 100%, Need those OP premiums to be nerfed asap, just make an apology and refund and it's all good. 3: That's true and I admit I'm part of the problem here. The FOMO is stronger than I am.

But what is normally recommanded for new player around here are basiclly buy 2-3 good(op) permium hvy and grind 1 strong tech tree hvy. that is basiclly how u start a new account. However, it is funny to think u need to pay 100 dollars just to start a game that u aren't really sure u like it or not. (few might think stay at low tier is fine, but be real here... most of us want the top tanks asap... is sad but it is how it is) 2. at this stage, refund basiclly will kill the company, because there just so many op permium out there already, the only way to make it work is an apology and nerf the permium tank. On the other hands, player base need to accept game object we brought are subject ot be change.... just like cloth or shoes that become unpopluar in few years.

BZ 176 can be put at tier X as a medium and have no disadvantages. It shows how broken the tank is.

@@kevinchen9215 1: I don't think you NEED an op premium right at the start, you can start by grinding a decent tech tree line and see if you like the game overall first. Then you can get some bonds from all sorts of missions and buy yourself a T8 premium with bonds to make credits faster. It will definitely be easier to grind faster with OP premiums, but I wouldn't say it's a necessity. 2: With a refund I meant gold compensation as the BZ was given out in lootboxes so there is no way to actually refund an exact amount. I do agree that all future tanks should have a disclaimer that statistics of the vehicle might change at any given time.

Pretty much, that's why I always like to take my heavy to cheeky positions and try my luck there.

Yup, being bottom tier sucks. But usually when you just start a grind with a vehicle you get a few rounds of top or only tier. Also it's closer to 20% of battles against T10 not 90% 😉

Confession: I grinded cash on my Skorp and STRV TDs. (I am that low.) The main point of this is,about statistics. Both vehicles went roughly 50% as middle tier, 40% bottom tier, 10% as top tier. These are rough made-up numbers, translated on 30 battles average, I was top tier about 2 battles...😮all other had at least 1-2 tier 9s or 10s in it.... And (while sanctifying my end) there was about 80% of these battles where the teams were made up more than half as op premiums...

@@Malthus_85 First of all, it's fine to play whichever you tank you want for whichever reason you want! Don't feel bad for playing OP vehicles as they are part of the game after all and if you're having fun that is all that matters! Secondly, I use the stats page from tomato.gg which shows the average of the last 30 days to get my statistics. So I guess you were unfortunate and got some bad MM but someone else might have gotten great MM (That person is me with about half of my games as top tier ;) But the real problem in my opinion is like you said, 80% of battles (at least) at tier 8 are made up of OP tier 8 premiums just dominating.

I still hope that premiums will eventually be nerfed!!! Artillery are not a problem in my opinion as they're doing their job. I believe gold should have less damage compared to regular rounds and then you have the option of either low pen + high dmg, or high pen + low dmg. But that will probably not happen.

This is a rather detailed reply so I'll to break it down to segments in my reply! WG goal: Obviously their goal is to make money at the end of the day, that's basically the goal of every company in the world. I don't know if having OP vehicles is the way to go as that will make more players leave the game rather than buy the tanks in my opinion. +/-2 MM: I believe this is good as is, players just need to learn their roles in a battle. when down by two tiers you need to support the top tiers rather than trying to carry, and when up by two tiers you usually need to be aggressive early on to carry the team to victory. Maps: Agreed 100%! We need more maps and we need them to be good, currently every map is becoming a corridor map to cater to the fast OP hull down heavies and I really don't like it. Rebalancing: They did start to rebalance more vehicles recently which is nice, hopefully they'll do it a faster pace moving forward though. Crew %: I both like and dislike the new crew changes, I like that it's only the skills that get affected but I don't like the fact that I can't have my skills on vehicles that the crew is not trained for. Personally I would prefer to have a penalty and keep the skills, but I'm still hoping that it will get tweaks in the future. Different crew setups for tanks of the same line should be removed, no reason for that and it's just confusing. Player experience: The game has changed A LOT in the past decade, both for better and worse. For the F2P player you now have more options to grind XP quickly with a lot of free premium days given away, personal reserves, and X5 missions. The time to grind a line has been significantly decreased which is great. The problem is that the game has introduced way too many OP premiums that just outshine their tech tree equivalents in all aspects and that makes the grind more difficult because getting a good result with a tech tree vs a premium is extremely difficult. So like I said, the player experience was both made better and worse in the last decade in my opinion. Thanks for watching and the detailed reply! Had a lot of fun reading it!

@@baffish Appreciate your detailed response, yet I'd still argue that +2 MM is overly flawed within WoT. It COULD work if there was SBMM (Skill based matchmaking). Fact of the matter is that in a +2, you're giving 2-3 players pretty much 80% of the power. T29 in a T5 matchmaking is completely invincible yet in a T9 battle, everyone with a decent heat just presses 2 and shoots right through it's turret (T29 being one, if not the best armored heavy on T7 - so it's even worse for any other) Guns don't match +2 MM, Armor does not hold up in +2 MM, Camo and Viewrange get heavily outscaled as well as most other tank characteristics. Engine Power, Topspeed, Reverse, Hull Traverse, overall Gunhandling and much more. Personally I do not play anything below T8 anymore, I just grind T8-T10 until I have the free XP to skip a whole line up to T8 unless a tank is actually decent (which is all lights and most high pen/incredibly mobile tds/meds). You don't need to carry every match, fair point. But don't give that one plyer all the power unless you match all the players with power equally. You simply can't put a 3.8k wn8 player vs a 1.4k wn8 player and expect to have a chance of winning that game. Even if tanks are unevenly matched, at least group 2 players of equal skill. You simp,y cannot improve as much in a +2 than you can in a +1 but not only that, it would also significantly improve game quality overall. There is no upside to this system except for people wanting to skip grinds by paying WG money.

@@user-pe6ct7ut8t I do agree that there should be some sort of SBMM but more like team based skill and not every player about the same level because that can't really work with the amount of players and the amount of tiers and tanks. But regarding the bottom tiers against two tier higher vehicles, you're not supposed to be good against those vehicles, you're supposed to support the good tanks. Sure, the top tier tank is the most important but that makes sense considering he has the strongest tank no? That's the thing about team based games, you need your team to actually do stuff to win. I know a lot of people want to win alone, but that just doesn't work in these types of games. Just do your best to support that top tier tank and hope they can do what needs to be done to win.

@@baffish It's not reallyy about wanting to win all the time or carrying games alone. It's about not standing a chance due to the effects of non SBMM. Every competetive game tries to somewhat match players based on MMR or other rating statistics and while it doesn't even need to be 100% accurate, you just simply can't put (as I mentioned earlier) a 3.8k wn8 player vs a 1.4k wn8 player in the most important role for that match. The game is scripted to be lost by the second it started. It's similar to why Fjords is hated so much because if you spawn south, your chance of winning is higher by default due to the sheer imbalance. Tank imbalance is one thing, if you have a T29 hulldown vs a Tiger 1 Hulldown well that sucks for your team but if it's 2 T29s against each other with a huge skill difference, that one tank is going to farm the entire heavy line while staying full hp with essentially no counterplay. It's not fun to play a supportive role simply because the game forces you into a horrible matchup by default. There is so many games where your toptier is some 1k wn8 bot that is afk the whole match, causing you to pretty much autolose because that one tank carries most of the impact. They can but never will add any form of SBMM. It took them years to finally acknowledge that EBR is so broken that it isn't an ordinary light, giving it special matchmaking rules after everyone has been spamming forums, reddits and other social media platforms such as YT with videos. Even if they introduced a rather simple version of a SBMM the queue times for players wouldn't be affected during the day at all, just during the night where the amount of players just simply lacks.

I could show a compilation of BZ-176s just absolutely destroying tech tree tanks but that happens every battle pretty much, a tech tree tank carrying is not something you see every day. When I said refund I meant the vehicle value in gold as it's not very realistic to refund the amount of money paid as it will vary between players. Legally I'm not sure if there is any problem as I do recall WG saying that it's not the legal part that is stopping them but the good will of the players, I think in the terms you agree to when buying a premium you don't actually buy it but rather rent the right to use it. So you never actually 'own' any of the premiums, but rather the right to use them in the game. Players are upset and make a big fuss about premiums being OP as well, it doesn't matter what they do the loud minority will always make noise. I would much rather cater to the quiet majority who I believe would want a more balanced experience rather than whatever tier 8 has become these days. Thanks for watching!

Had to check what some of those words mean XDDDD I actually think that the grind is a lot easier these days thanks to premium days/reserves/X5 missions that are being given out pretty generously. But if it is indeed a bad player playing the Tiger II then it doesn't actually matter which tank they'll take, they'll have bad results.

If I'm not mistaken the agreement you confirm when purchasing any product on their site is more of a rent rather than assuming ownership of the product, so legally they are allowed to change the charectaristics of the vehicle as it has always been their property and you never 'owned' it. Also I'm pretty sure I've seen them state before that legally they're allowed to do that but they don't because they don't want to hurt the players who pay or something like that, but once again, please correct me if I'm wrong here! I tried to find a way that will keep the players good will and keep the game balanced at the same time.
