There's not a single American hifi brand anyone can cite (apart from McIntosh) that could stand anywhere near European car hifi brands. And even McIntosh would be nowhere near a Burmester or B&W for clean sound definition and dynamic range as you'd expect in classical or jazz music. You want unhinged rock sound, well ok, maybe McIntosh deserves a look. But all the rest of the American brands like Bose, Harmon, JBL....they don't deserve a place in ANY self-respecting premium car, much less high-end cars. Just my two cents.

Saw it in person at Pavillion (they have a pop up shop in Pavillion) and the car is genuinely jaw dropping. Insane presence, pictures cannot convey the design and details. Do drop by if possible, it can only be appreciated in person. Staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable. Decisions decisions...

I've been reviewing cars professionally since 2008 while we're still in magazine era. :) and i have a special interest in studying how manufacturers work with their suppliers in achieving what the designers envisioned. Back in 2015 when i travelled to sweden to check out the preproduction volvo s90 and v90 cars, i pointed to the engineers the assembly method of the rear reflectors of the v90 is too sharp and they musn't design a black panel cover for the edges of the sharp reflector, in fact, the reflector's moulding should fold in so that the sharp edges of the reflector doesn't caught women's knitted sweater or scarfs. they agreed and changed the production method of that part. During the cayenne international test drive i asked porsche engineers why they removed the touch screen aircond blow directional controls in the cayenne? is it because of the amount of complains from customers of panamera? they said yes, then i suggested if they added a line of code and on the aircond screen there's an option for Auto Oscillation, then it would make perfect sense for them to have a electromechanical aircond vent operated through a screen. the porsche engineers went "we never thought of that!" yeah, so i have no knowledge in wheel offsets, modification of cars, f1 or rally racing but i have deep interest in car manufacturing :)

Depends on your taste. But honestly, looks better than those AMG Mercedes models. Even XM doesn’t look bad unlike AMG Mercedes models. Even reliability for BMW and Lotus also better than Mercedes

The reason being most of the time, our prices are international prices. Cars here are relatively more expensive than the rest of the world. Not as insane as Singapore though, where recently a 40 year old Honda Accord is put up for sale for close to 80k USD
