My wife and I have been married going on 14 years, been together for 16...but we have been hitting a lot of rough patches lately since having our second child, so I started this (unbeknownst to her) to try to bring us back from the brink of divorce. This is also in tandem with rebuilding my relationship with God (which I have severely fallen away from)! Wanted to share my wife's reaction when I asked her if there is something that I can do for her? Her response "why are you being so nice?!" I tried to play it off and asked what she meant; which she said she was just giving me a hard time with "LOL" ending it. And, sure, it was a funny response...not going to lie, I chuckled a little. But, it did kind of sting too. I mean, I have done things for her (bought her flowers, take her lunch regularly, etc.). I do things around the house, but the "extras" usually comes at her request...and Lord knows she has expressed her desire to just be considered/thought about. So I have to imagine, me asking this question brought a smile to her face (either literally or figuratively) because I was considering her! But also, maybe she felt a little bit of a weight lifted off her shoulders too...maybe I am reading too much into it, but the response somehow opened me to start thinking about her feelings! I am writing this the day after the dare, and (even now) thinking about it gets my heart racing and I want to tear up...knowing that I have never (literally) thought about how my words or actions would be perceived, or how they could have possibly affected my wife. Thank you, Kirk, for posting these and leading this challenge!
Been trying to get my wife to watch fireproof for years when she said she was struggling with emotions for me. I put it on the other night and she watched it without me. Doing the love dare. Trying to save my marriage from a divorce.
I am so thankful this is on RU-vid. I am able to share this with my husband in México while I am in the states. We are currently separated and I am praying for him daily. For God to change his heart and mind and put God and family above his work. To make time for us always.
Shayna, be encouraged. I pray that your husband will choose the path of life. I am going through something similar. It would be interesting to see how u can do the love dare from a distance. I pray that the Lord can shoe u creative ways to love him even from where u are. I pray that it will move his heart and help him to come to himself. The Lord shared this verse with me. Romans 12:19-22. What you do can make an incredible difference. Bless you sister in Christ.

I pray that he comes around…I know how it feels as a guy putting his work before his family in some way always wanting to work soo much… but trying to make a company happy some times can take a great toll on the relationship and family… I truly pray that your husband has a great change of heart and come back and change his poor ways and save his family.

I truly believe that God lead me to your videos about the Love Dare. My beautiful wife presented me with the Love Dare after I was unfaithful in my marriage. God has awaken me and opened my eyes again and what I was going to lose. Thank you so much for going over this wonderful gift of love from God. It helps me with my studys of the Dare
A friend of mine and her wife did The Love Dare and it saved their marriage. It shows that this works for gay couples too. God is good all the time. And all the time, God is good.

I have tremendous respect for you and what you're doing, Mr. Cameron. I am currently pursuing the Love Dare. But I feel strongly compelled to mention that during the last supper as recorded in The Bible, never once did our Lord use the word represent when referring to the bread and wine. He said this IS my body. This IS my blood. He said nothing about symbolism in this dialog, and John chapter 6 further validates the true presence of his body and blood in this bread and wine. He physically and spiritually changes these substances into His actual body and blood. Thank you so much for allowing me to comment and God bless you. Please keep doing the work you are doing.
