Clay said he was not ready 1000 times. He was a walking red flag.

Clay is looking for a life coach and AD doesn't realize she's mothering. The love she saw in him was actually a reflection of her depth of love. She will be healthier and thrive finding a man who is already equipped to pour into her as well.

The reunion is going to be wild. I hate that Netflix is making us wait a week for it.

Besides Johnny, NONE of these men really wanted to get married! They wanted on the show.

Clays mom had the best quotes of the season and maybe the franchise. “Explain and apologize no excuses just apologize” Dad “I meet you and he’ll meet someone like his mom” Mom “Yeah but you meet me but you wasn’t good to me”. Mic Drop 🎤

AD dodged a huge bullet

When the officiant was asking AD whether she takes Clay to be her husband, Clay looked her in the eyes and smiled while nodding reassuringly. When she said "I do" he beamed so huge. It makes so much sense that she was completely blindsided by him saying no because he was giving every indication with his body language that he would say yes. He truly paid 0 attention to what AD was telling him, which was that she would not accept less than an "I do." He literally said he "didn't understand the magnitude of the decision." He was not willing to think about what AD wanted or needed because she had put so much effort into helping him through what he needed. Because he wanted to just keep dating, he assumed that would be an option despite being told outright it was not. He was 100% accurate that he was not ready for marriage, but he didn't think that was a big deal or something he needed to share with the person wanting to marry him.

Clay saved AD's life!!! AD offered to jump off that cliff and Clay said, "girl are you crazy?!! put this damn parachute on! You know i ain't it, for real!"

Clay is doing the old, “I don’t wanna make a rash decision and marry someone I just met for two weeks” argument. It’s interesting that he signed up for the show which does just that.

the moment Clay’s dad showed up I knew that man was saying no.

Clay's mom was the MVP of this episode. I loved the conversation she had with the dad. Amy and Johnny...I just want them to be happy forever.

Clay and his father are both the type of people who say the right thing without actually having the emotional understanding behind what they’re saying. This is manipulation whether they realize it or not. You can tell his mom is different; she doesn’t just say words, she means them.

What rlly pissed me was the “ok bodyyy” when clay saw AD like broooo come onnnnn

Why did Clay go on a show that ends with marriage if he knew he wasn’t ready? I have a hard time believing you go in and then figure out you aren’t ready. And his mom is partially wrong, just because he went on this shoe does not mean he currently wants a long term meaningful relationship. Maybe it was a business move on his part.

I think his final straw was more so that she focuses on other couples and their strength and she is very insecure about their relationship. He was just like, I can't do this. It was so odd that she was so caught up on that argument too. It was how she HANDLED herself during, the idea around the argument, how drunk she was, the broken trust and how he felt like he could never tell her anything again, and then the moments afterwards. Chelsea needs help and I don't want to see her at the reunion saying how it was 50/50 and the girls backing her up. She needs to take accountability for her actions.

It broke my heart to see AD continually blaming herself for “not being good enough” when Clay has shown time and time again that he was so unserious about all of this. Clay didn’t seem to see her as anything other than another mom for him, he wanted to be nurtured and cared for but wasn’t ready for any commitment. He constantly talked about how he didn’t go to therapy when that’s something he could’ve done at any point of his adult years as someone who’s 30. It was red flag after red flag and I hope watching this back helps AD realize that. But I’m happy for Amy and Johnny 😅

I was so heartwarmed watching amy ,and Johnny's and weddding you can tell that they really are invested.

Good drama filled season. Now gimme the reunion. I expect Chelsea will have had enough time to figure out how to blame it all on Jimmy and take no accountability.

The way Chelsea's tone escalates to hysterical so quickly gives me genuine anxiety. I've been involved with people like that who go from 0 to 100 within a few seconds and it's a horrible experience. Jimmy hasn't done much right as a fiancee, I'm not denying that, but Chelsea seems absolutely exhausting.

Can we even imagine the insane nuclear explosion that Chelsea would have had, had they made it to the altar and Jimmy said no? Like, she would burn the place down. Girl is extra in the worst way. I was so nervous after they broke up that Jimmy would catch up with her and apologize

Chelsea and Jimmy's relationship is driving me nuts. Thank goodness Jimmy broke it off. Jimmy was nice enough to break it right before the altar. Chelsea needs therapy before she engages in a relationship. She is self-sabotaging her relationship. Her victim voice is making me roll my eyes. AD. I hope she will realize that Clay did her a HUGE Favor.... he is a walking red flag and she deserves someone way better. Clay's mom nailed it. Love how she called his ex on his actions.

1. Jimmy made every excuse in the book to not marry Chelsea when really he wasn't attracted to her whatsoever 2. Clay had cheater written all over him and we all knew it. 3. The last couple worked out pretty smoothly with little to no drama. 4 . These people gotta stop saying they love strangers 😂

Im sorry but if all of chelseas behaviors would have come from a male contestant, I believe the audience would be a lot harder on it. Its annoying to watch this being talked obout as: “oh boy these two”. Like, dont get me wrong, jimmy has his issues and played a role as anyone does in a couple dynamic but it’s nowhere near as disturbing, as hurtful, dismissing and problematic as watching Chelsea do her shit

When Clay's friend asked him about his decision to get married, everything he said was about what AD did for him and how she was adding to his life, nothing about what he was bringing to her and how he wanted to make her happy. If he truly cared about her he would tell her before they were AT THE ALTAR, and failing that if he really cared he wouldn't have let her say "I do", he would have jumped in first to stop it. He wanted to hear her say I do because he wanted her to validate him once again and make him feel special and loved, it was entirely about his feelings as always and never about hers.

I found it hard to watch Clay throughout the season. He really gives me the creeps.

I agree with Clay that it wouldn’t be responsible for them to get married. They most likely would’ve broken up anyway and he wasn’t good for her. But I don’t agree with breaking the news at the alter. If he wanted to continue his relationship with AD, he should’ve had a conversation with her before she even put on that wedding dress. Even if he didn’t want to keep dating, it’s cruel to get someone’s hopes up like that and have their family show up for a wedding you know isn’t going to happen. AD said she didn’t come there for a long-term engagement, so maybe he was scared of getting rejected. But I honestly don’t know how he was expecting that to go. She’s definitely not going to want you after you hurt her like that. His reasoning was a total cop out as well. He wasn’t ready, period. AD’s finances were something they could’ve worked out together if he was really concerned about it but genuinely wanted to be with her.

AD was the star of the season. It was heartbreaking seeing her heart broken but giiiiiirl you dodged a bullet. Clay’s Mom is the real deal. She read every part of this like a book. 💯

Y'all... I was literally sobbing the entire Amy/Johnny wedding😭 Her dad is the purest soul, and the blending of their families was so beautiful to watch! Hoping for nothing but happiness for them.

This season was a mess. When I found myself rooting for Jimmy, I new it was a wrap. Clay was a walking contradiction and whole mess. So glad Chelsea is off my screen...one more episode of her and she can return to obscurity. Now we have to endure the awfulness that is Vanessa Lachey in this reunion. UGH!

Did anyone notice Clay say Marraige is a business deal?! Like whaaat?! I mean, I get it, I view it that way too especially with finances and children but that's why I don't want to get married. My guy came on a whole show centered around it. Yes, he was broken, and YES, in theory, what he was saying was true: don't go in if you're not 100, he'd have been a bad husband, and he needs to work on himself, but he never respected AD. He never gave her the chance because he was never there. AD didn't even respect herself enough to read the signs in my opinion and she deserves to be loved and not terrified to be cheated on. Clay ALWAYS knew he was going to say no to whichever woman was standing up there. Which is NOT what Jimmy was like. He did not always know that. And he TOLD Chelsea straight that he wanted to leave after that argument, but she begged him (it was embarrassing, really). She kept lying that they were great communicators. And then he realised after trying once more it would never work and respected her enough to let her not get to the altar. He said I don't need this anymore. And he handled the situation AMAZING. Laid out the exact reasons, questioned her bullshit ("like what?" and her SILENCE!) then said he was done and reaffirmed his choice.

I was doing cartwheels and backfilps when Jimmy broke it off.

This show is a horrible environment for people with her insecurities, plus Love is Blind apparently does not take care of their cast, like at all. I think Clay was right to reveal how important looks are for him. That way he showed exactly where he was and the woman has all the facts when making a choice. Better that than someone like Jimmy who tried to say and do all the right things. He would have been better served to just admit he wasn't ready to be a father to a 10 year old and he really wasn't that attracted to Chelsea. I think love CAN rise above physical attributes and perhaps if Jimmy and Chelsea hadn't had so many other issues he could have become attracted to her as he grew to love her. But a pair comprising a woman who needs validation 24/7 and a man whose energies were focused on repressing all his true feelings -- that couldn't last

Chelsea constantly projecting onto Jimmy my brain melt. I thought AD was fine and all but she fully knew what she was in for with Clay. After he got mad at her in the pods for dating Matthew too, the irk didn't go away. AD needs to work on herself as much as Chelsea so she can see her worth and not go after these emotionally unavailable and vapid men. The convo between Clay and his dad was weird, like you could see what Clay learned from that parentage. He complimented his dad most for being "suave" not loving or involved in his upbringing. The process watching Clay and ADs "wedding" vs Amy and Johnny was ight and day in terms of the love that radiated off of everyone. You could feel a huge difference even before Clay said no.

The season went exactly how everyone thought it would go. Johnny and Amy got married and everyone else broke up. Clay and Jimmy did exactly what they was supposed to do but waited way too late. And in terms of the reunion no one should get there hopes up cause every season we get our hopes up and get disappointed cause we don't get the closure we need

Can AD switch gears and be the next bachelorette? I just felt so bad for her.

AD is too keen to get married that she ignored lots of warning signs Clay was in no way ready and he kept showing it esp with things he says. Apart from thinking she has a banging body, he didnt think anything more of her. It was shady of him to lead her to the alter knowing where he stood

Chelsea really messed that up with Jimmy. Not saying he is perfect as he needs to be more honest about his emotions, but I think he was genuinely scared of her 😂 In this case was Love not only blind, but it was psycho! In Clays case, it kind of made me frustrated to see many men in the black community not ready for marriage. The rate of single motherhood is sky high. And sadly AD, like many black women, love black men so much they are willing to overlook the obvious red flags. This is something way much deeper than what is portrayed on a TV show.

It was so weird for me to see Clay's parents interact especially because of everything we've heard about his dad so far... Such a weird and uncomfortable conversation that felt so personal to see

Chelsea argued with Jimmy with the goal to win, not to end conflict. Literally, none of the arguments they had, she took any accountability for her actions. While Jimmy took accountability for the actions he made during every single one. When he did, Chelsea would see that as him backing down, and give her the okay to just go, "I forgive you." and move on. Jimmy was way too patient with her. I would've dumped her the second she accused me of cheating.
