I never get tired of hearing y’all’s “How we met” story. I’ve heard it like 4 times and it never gets old. There’s a beautiful aspect of finding your person in real human experiences as opposed to the Disney fairytales we’re told to believe. Not saying they’re not possible, because they TRULY are but these are much better.

I was like Sterling. Very black/white, and rigid in my thinking as a young woman. I'm a little less like that now. Still working on having less of a this is right and this is wrong attitude especially when it comes to assessing other's choices

She's probably talking about the song "Super Sporm" by Captain Sky (1978). The song was very popular in NYC back then, as well as the phrase especially amoungst early hip hop heads. That's the sample we hear in the Salt and Pepa song. Kurtis Blow also had a song called "Super Sperm" which was similar to the Captain Sky song. Both of the songs are on youtube. If you happen to want hear the sample from the Captain Sky song I suggest you go to 3 minutes in.
