It is still a good reaction, raw reaction is the best. If you think this episode is super sweet, well prepare for EP9, though there will be jealousy, angst and more hate for Master Kuea and Lady On. But there is a scene that we will all just swoon with envy because of how romantic Princess Anin is towards Lady Pin. But anyways, if you already hate Master Kuea prepare to hate him more on the coming episodes. As for Princess Patt, I know everyone keeps on asking who is this friend that Princess Patt seems to always meet, if it's the same in the novel, don't mind it, it really is just maybe one of her Royal friends. Because I read the novel, I really can't hate Princess Patt fully, I'm sure they will show her back story as well, but her story really broke my heart. I know it doesn't justify that she want's Lady Pin to get married when she stayed single, but maybe since as she said she take care of Lady Pin like her own daughter, so it's a parental love that she wanted Lady Pin to get married so that someone can take care of Lady Pin, up to know it does happen even in modern times. Even if we can already voice out our choices, but still there are parents out there specially in Asian culture that has the last say on who their child marries, there are still traditional parents specially the older generation. Anyways, we just have to ready ourselves to more rollercoaster of emotions on the following episodes. Cause it is a rollercoaster indeed, and I think blood boiling of anger is one of those emotions. Recently subscribed :D (Sorry about your foot though xD) I've been finding it really interesting with the contrast between Anin and Pin's characters in the series and the books as well, and I agree that Pin in general is a much more reserved character, one who definitely feels "lower" compared to the others, who had trauma in her life and seems to try hard to not be a burden. I feel she has in general from my understanding of her suppressed on her emotions a bit, so she's not super used to dealing with them, which is why we kind of get the extreme jealousy/possessiveness while she learns to try and open up more with Anin, as well as a lot of crying because it's a lot to process and deal with. If Anin wasn't so open their relationship may never have been allowed to start which I found as an interesting contrast to a certain couple from the book that you might know. In the meanwhile, you have Anin who received a western education, who is basically adored by everyone, allowed to play and be mischievous, allowed to be curious, and that contributes to her much bolder and more heart-on-sleeve personality, though she also cries a lot less because she also puts on a front in a different way. While Pin is more obedient, Anin at least acts friendly to everyone and that can make her seem a bit too charming. But because of Anin's nature, it allowed to plant the seeds of the relationship for Pin, to give her time to process it (as it's a lot easier when you KNOW how the other person feels about you and when they don't treat it as something wrong!), so it's a pleasure to see how the relationship develops. Pin's lucky that Anin is indeed such a sweet talker though xD Also you know Anin was way too hyped about that punishment. Hopefully she doesn't exploit that in the future, eh :D

You got awesome points for this episode. I think you understand Anin and Pin very well. Pin's mindset is definitely constructed by the environment she was raised in. She is loved by her aunt Patt and Anin's family but she still feels like she has to owe them. She's more complex in this series than the book. She is definitely obedient and less confident but she's not a necessarily a people pleaser and can be firm. This episode shows how she deals with repercussions and internalized homophobia. Anin may be confident and very strong but she is also a people pleaser. She has subtle ways of it. She feels kinda like she needs to be nice to everyone and having hard time to refuse although she can refuse whenever she's pushed beyond the boundaries. It's interesting how the series made her that complex. She has the insecurity about the marriage thing. She assures Pin because she knows that she won't allow herself to get married. She's not sure about Pin not being able to refuse. That's her main insecurity. She tries to encourage Pin to be more dominant in life probably due to the fear that she might become obedient to aunt Patt and Anin's family for marriage. Even Anin herself try to make Pin possessive of her so she won't leave her alone. I guess that's why she danced with Lady Ungfah to make her more possessive which somewhat worked. She provoked her even more on the sofa, which led Pin to "punish" her. Not gonna lie, you're right. It was a bad idea. Now, Anin gonna try to annoy Pin to get "punishments" whenever she wants it. Poor Pin 😅😂

This was a very good ep. I agree with your opinion about Pin because she is so grateful with her aunt and she respect her so much. It's like the relationship between Sam and her grandma it's difficult for other people to understand but Pin and Sam have this emotional connection with the person who raised them and they'll always try to do what it's right. Thanks for making a huge effort to give us your raw reaction haha it most had been a huge struggle 😅 I agree with what you said about the promises, i thought about it for a bit and i think that i haven't actually made one because of the same reason that giving someone your word is a hard thing to do so i find it kinda sweet that Anin is so hopeful and secure of her feelings for Pin that she is comfortable making them for both And your comment about the mindset that Pin has about herself i totally agree, she does feel out of place and at the same time she tries hard to give back all the kindness in a way that the aunt wants (behaving and so on) but i also have to add that, the moment they got officially together she gained a bit more confidence since before she wouldn't have been able to say no to Kua that easily by herself, but i dont mean that she got rid of all the insecurities but is an development that im sure as the show progress we will see that a bit more Another thing is that i truly hope that in the show they dont ruin the older brother since he is such a great character and i love him haha Overall i think that this episode is slow (narrative wise) since not much happens and everything is at the end😊 but very enjoyable watching them in love and funny jealously, im excited for the next one since the drama will be present haha and im so eager to suffer a bit😂😂 but nevertheless i loved it, and i think that everyone had the same reaction to that love scene it was too much for our hearts Thanks for the reaction!
