CIAO GUYS! We really wanted to thank you for your support ❤ If you haven’t already please go and subscribe to our channel 😊 See you for the next episode!
I'm not thai but i suspect the text at the bottom of the screen during the snake bite scene was a disclaimer that you can't actually suck the venom out of a bite. 😅 However, the show takes place in the 50s and I believe at that time it was considered an option to try to slow down the effect of the poison.
If you thought Pin keeping Anil’s handkerchief under her pillow was red flag behaviour then you ain’t ready for other GLs! I laughed so hard when he walked away from the screen and said “Send her to England rn!”😂 It’s not creepy, it’s cute. It’s like on the outside Pin scolds Anil but on the inside she loves and cherishes everything about her. But your reaction was so funny, keep it up!
Thai film and tourism industries There is a policy to make Thailand the center of the series about women loving women. In modern Thai society, parents of youth In Thai society, it is considered that A woman who loves a woman is cute and bright. When their daughters love women, their parents support them. There is a very popular saying in Thailand: If your daughter loves a woman, you will get another daughter. From Thailand
@@TGAreactions At the end of this month there will be 2 girl love series available on RU-vid: 1.affair 2.reverse 4 you and at the beginning of next year there will be a series called pluto
Also add a fact that comes from the novels and that seems a bit essential to me to understand the series that is based on the loyal pins 1 and 2. The character of Princess Anil (Becky) from the beginning, her character is in love/has interest towards Khun Pin (Freen) for that same reason she is always sincere with what she says to Khun Pin, also the beautiful thing about these novels is that her story goes from childhood to then move on to her adolescence and finally to her adult life, In fact, in the next chapter we will have that jump to his adult life, which is in his 20s and that is when the drama that they ask for so much begins hahaha😄
Thank you for your insight of the novel! I love to know that Anil sincerity is a sign of her love towards Pin, it’s so sweet 🥰 cannot wait to see how the story continue after the time jump!
Great reaction guys!! You said you wanted drama, you're gonna get it LMAO. It's a rollercoaster ride from here on out, stay tuned. Padmika is also a good character, there's a reason behind her behavior that the show will probably show later since we'll have all the episodes including the specials.
Oh yeah we are so ready for the Drama!! 😂❤️ that’s interesting, she seems quite strict atm but we are so curious to see how they develop her character 😻
Great reaction guys - its going to be quite a journey. Because you probably haven't seen the trailer or read the novel- so it was fun hearing your random thoughts and guesses on the plot. Maria - you need to not get distracted by Fabio so easily. The bedroom scenes where Khun Pin was keeping all the precious items from Princess Anil was absolutely cute and adorable. Now lets wait for next week.
We are so ready for this journey 💪🏻 we haven’t red the novel so we don’t know much apart from some teasers/trailers!! Ahahahaha Fabio is quite harsh, but I’m sure he’s going to change his mind 🔥 I personally find that scene really cute 🥰 thank you for your support and feedback ❤️can’t wait for next week episode!!
58:13 Maybe I can help you find it less creepy with some context from the book (no spoilers, don't worry). In the book, Pin has separation anxiety that stems from her parent's death. She is very attached to Anil and relies on her for comfort. She has trouble coping when Anil is away from her, even if it is only for a short period. She started collecting Anil's lost items as a way to keep pieces of Anil with her at all times to make her days a little less difficult. Pin's life looks ideal, but she actually has a hard time and Anil serves as her light in the dark.
I'm a bit frustrated they didn't include this aspect of her character. We see her loneliness after her parents' death, but adding the separation anxiety detail would not only make her interactions less creepy but also highlight her vulnerability and complexity. This new perspective definitely changes how I'll view her behavior. Thank you for sharing this important detail with me! 😊
I haven't read the book yet, is it worth it or is the show doing it justice? Also, since you read the book, can you tell who to watch out for? I always root for the wrong people and then get my heart broken... and what are the differences between the palaces?
@@TGAreactions I have a feeling you may see it more in the next few eps as the two do have to separate and you see them apart. This first ep had a lot of set up going on so likely was more introductory rather getting into real deep complexity.
@@Seraphina-l1n even though the show is very good and keep the story in line, reading the book it give us more understanding of the charaters. I've read the book and I've watch the first episode and I know more about the characters, I understand better their reaction. So for me, if a have a book and a show of the book, I go and read the novel first and then watch the show.
I found it a bit weird but not creepy. In the show she keeps only 2 items, one of which anin gave her (the handkerchief) and the other Anin dropped and Pin happened to pick up. It's a little odd but the characters are like 14 at the time and it's not like we saw Pin having a large collection of anin's lost items which _would_ have been kind of creepy. For me it read as something a socially awkward and immature 14 year old would do. Remembering that the characters aren't adults and Pin doesn't appear to have other friends or any immediate family kind of explains the behaviour.
There is one thing that not a lot of people mentioned. To Thai people, legs and feet are the dirtiest/lowest part of the body. And the head is the untouchable/ highest one. So no one is allowed to touch others' heads besides their parent, the monks, and the king ( nowadays, if two people are very very close and that person allow u to, then yes, otherwise you're so rude if u touch someone's head ) And no one will touch others' feet/legs if that person is not their parent, lover/partner, the monks, or the king. (Thais also only bow their head down to the feet of their parent, the monks, and the king ). That being said, why Khun Pin had that kind of reaction when a princess like Anil didn't care about anything I just said, but Khun Pin.
Thank you for your detailed explanation 🙏🏻❤️ we knew roughly about this, but not the specifics and knowing this brings a new perspective to the story for us, thank you thank you 🥰
@@TGAreactions and thank you for joining us in this journey of the girls. Oh plus, due to that , some nonfan audiences got questioned about if they are a thing in real life cause they can barely use the angle to shoot that shot but they didn't lol
The series is in 1950 … so the way they’re shy while touching or make eyes contact. It’s how Thai people we flirt back in that time. It’s very conservative back in the old days.
2 people, a couple, a woman and a woman, both of them named Freenes, famous from Gap, Pink Theory, the first story, now it's about to air part 2. I don't know, you'll watch it or not, but I'll send you the link or not. It's been about a year or so. ru-vid.com/group/PL2bTVo_srFGQF4MBUSPeifEklS5XvGIZN&si=5-tCE3UHfWKyMkFg
Cool I like that you guys are going in with this blind w/o backdrop of the books Although just from an Asian pov - it’s very common for children to be disciplined through caning. Most will practice the idea of “spare the rod; spoil the child”. This probably only changed in the past 10-20years. I’m 31 and I grew up with caning punishments too; it was normal Perhaps you may have judged Auntie Pad too quickly from that since her first “introduction” in older Pin’s life was the caning part
We are definitely going blind on this matter, judging from what you said we probably been too harsh towards the character! Thank you for providing your own experience, we really love to learn new insights of Thai culture 🥰
@@TGAreactions blind is good is fresh eyes. I’m going in to see how they will adapt - like what parts are fresh and what are kept coz the novels are really good source material (compared to GAP novel vs Series lol) I’m not Thai but pretty sure most of southeast Asian parenting back in the days are similar 😂 If y’all have X it will be cool to follow the TLP tags. I am learning a lot about the nuances and details such as the meaning of the characters’ names which show in their personalities (eg Anil meaning “beautiful or noble wind” & other such tidbits
the cakes and desserts in the series are Thai traditional desserts, alot of them are made from egg yolks thats why they are yellow but really sweet tho
Hello Admin, This is the first Thai series that has been supported by the Ministry of Culture, following the Thai government's policy to promote Thai soft power in all aspects such as movies, food, music and many more. As a Thai, it is very shocking to see Thai government agencies doing something like this because in the past, the Thai government has never been interested in and has never supported the Thai entertainment industry at all, causing the Thai entertainment media industry to be outdated all the time.😂😂😂😂😅😅
I enjoy your reactions. Agreed that the introduction was done well. Can't wait to see the developments of the girls. Anin will be back with more experience. Being she's going to an all girl school. Ready to conquer Pin. New subscriber Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
I can’t help it, I must ship the weirdest couples! 😂 Picture this: Pin ends up getting engaged to the brother of her childhood crush, just for Anin to come back from the UK and steal her away. I would die for that storyline! Brother and Sister fighting for the same girl!
@@TGAreactions i love that he says his real reaction tho and not everything is a praise😊.. Anyway i think its ok to see it kinda creepy but we have to take account their age here they are young Khun Pin might be 16 not sure.. those things she kept of Anin are like keepsakes for her like treasures her comfort of having someone important like Anin with her.. remember shes always been alone i dont think she even have mementos of her own family.. and i think at this stage theres still no malice from both so the things she kept is not to creep on Anin😂 but more like comfort and sentiment.
I personally find it sweet too 🥰 but Fabio is always very harsh especially at the beginning ahahah don’t worry he’ll fall in love with Pin in no time ❤️
