***** Yup for half a billion dollars, and they will get 500 million more if their network of channels keep growing as promised, so the founders of maker like kassem and shaycarl are rich as fuck now
Have a display table off to the side for production uses. Small camera and light that can focus on the different strains you smoke. This way when you introduce the strains you can show a high quality shot of the product.
This is one of my all time favorite episodes, because the Lucas Bros were BAKED and just kept smoking. Kassem too - and everybody was cracking me up. EXCELLENT SHOW!
I would say this is one of the best episodes I've seen. Lucas bros are chill as hell n kassem just holds his own like a boss. Funny n entertaining. Great job Doug keep em coming
Two friendly suggestions: 1. I think the show would be better if it wasn't so pot centered, you're smoking pot while talking about pot at 4:20... Notice that the (fun) conversation tries to go away from pot organically and then the show pulls it back into pot centered topics, which are usually too biased to be interesting or informative, It gets all quiet and awkward and the show loses momentum as soon as it starts gaining it. 2. Doug gets moody, quiet and awkward, so Sativa and Coffee for him.
Totally agree about the topics. It's always the same boring shit, Doug is like "so 'some state' wants to legalize it, that's cool' and the guest is like "yeah that's pretty cool" and that's it. Always talk about "does this guy smoke or that guy don't...". Boring as fuck. They should just talk and joke around about random stuff like on JRE, would be much more entertaining,
Agreed hardcore. They just need to let natural conversation happen and go with it naturally and not force direction of conversation. The biggest issue is the incredibly short time construction. A show such as this really needs and deserves 2 hour minimum. Doug always in a rush to get to segments and it's so noticeable and unnatural. Love the show but it needs to lose the strict structure it has now. Use the freedom the Internet is providing.
Great episode, funny how it flew by for them cause it felt the same to me so I had to watch it twice :P Also Kassem should be some sort of co-host or something, always great to see him on the show.
The best one in... The best one. Take note: Talkative and smokeative guests, with good chemistry and common topics; Food is an excellent social lubricant for stoners, it sets a nice, homey, informal atmosphere, but most importantly: Organic, open, engaged conversation. Fuck the segments, fuck the rote: Get people talking. Weed is the vehicle of the show, it doesn't need to be its center, particularly in this forced and juvenile, and superficial way. In fact, if we wanna show how natural, nifty and peaceable it is, get people talking and smoking. Engage with them, listen to them and joke around. Movies, wrestling, dead parents, doesn't matter. And yes, ol' millionaire Kassem is one of the best things to happen to this show. He's as passionate, dedicated, relaxed and engaged as one could expect from anyone on the show, and a good deal funny. Don't be afraid to let the show grow, D. It's worth it.
